20 Paylines

Twenty lines across a 5×3 grid is one of the longest-running layouts in online slots, and it’s still everywhere. The older games on this page show where it started. Wish Upon a Jackpot dates from 2013 and Rainbow Riches Pick ‘n’ Mix from 2016, the latter with a modest 500x cap. Newer releases keep the same line count but push the numbers much further. Blueprint’s King Kong Cash Jackpot King and Luck O’ The Irish Fortune Play 3 both list 50,000x caps, and Pond of Plinko reaches 30,000x.

Not every game here sticks to three rows. The Auction House and Shamrock Shenanigans spread their 20 lines over a 5×4 grid, and Cops Vs Robs uses 5×5. Volatility covers the whole range, from Low on Golden Sea to Very High on The Auction House.
