All About Unicorn Bliss
Lavender sky, a rainbow arching the full width of the screen, and a grinning daisy where most slots put a card ten. Unicorn Bliss doesn’t do menace. Eyecon built this 5×3, 25-line pastel fantasy slot in February 2017, and gave it a heart that tops the sheet at 96x with a long flat shelf underneath. You’ll recognise the studio’s older classics in its shape straight away, and you’ll notice what is missing too, because there is one feature here and no pick round waiting behind it. What you get instead is a paytable that fires often and small, on a single setting Eyecon never split into a pair.
Demo Features
The Rainbow Substitute
The Rainbow covers every symbol on the reels apart from the scattered Unicorn, and any line win it joins pays double. That is its only job. The help gives it no pay values, so you are never chasing five of them; you are hoping for one to drop into a heart line and double what the heart was already worth. Doubling is also as close as this slot gets to a multiplier. No rising counter, no wild reel, no combination of wild and scatter to learn. One symbol, one job, applied the same way whether you paid for the turn or not.
The Unicorn Scatter

The Unicorn is both the symbol that pays and the symbol that opens the feature, and it starts paying from two of them, wherever they land. Two give you 2x, three 5x, four 10x, and five 50x, added to whatever the paylines produced on the same turn. The 25 line diagrams have nothing to do with it, since the Unicorns pay from any position they fall in. That matters more than it sounds on a sheet this flat, because a pair of Unicorns returning 2x is a far more frequent event than four hearts on an active line, and it is why the reels rarely go completely quiet.
Free Games, 15 to 25
Three Unicorns start the free games, four or five make them longer, and the count sets the length at 15, 20, or 25. They run on the paylines and the wager that triggered them, and they can retrigger up to 15 times, which is the same ladder and the same retrigger limit you will find across Eyecon’s catalogue. What the help does not give them is a multiplier. Nothing is tripled, nothing is held, no extra symbol arrives for the feature. A run of 25 free games here is 25 ordinary turns you did not pay for, with the Rainbow still doubling and the Unicorn still paying from two. Whether that reads as restraint or as an omission depends on how much you liked the first 25 turns.
13 Symbols and No Card Royals
Most Eyecon classics of this vintage pad the low end with A, K, and Q. This one does not. The bottom of the grid is a purple flower and a daisy, both with faces, both paying 4x for a line of five, and above them a rose and a butterfly at 8x, a wand and a bluebird at 16x. That is 13 drawn symbols with no letters anywhere, a small design decision that changes how the board reads when it lands. A garden of flowers still looks like a garden rather than a hand of cards, and for a slot aimed at the gentle end of a lobby, that is worth more than one extra pay tier would have been. The trade-off is that the low symbols all look important, and none of them is.
How to Play
Paylines, Bets and RTP
You do not choose how many lines to play here, not really. The bet panel opens with LINES showing 25 and the up arrow greyed out because 25 is the maximum for this game, and the stepper below it adjusts the wager per payline instead. Everything else follows from that. Line wins read left to right from reel one; only the highest win on each line counts, and wins on separate lines are added, with the total appearing in the WIN box. Turn the line count down, and you are switching diagrams off, which on a 25-line sheet with five symbols that pay from two is the fastest way to make a busy slot feel empty.
The rules screen gives the return as 94.995%. There is no second version to check for, which is unusual for this studio, since its classics are normally published as a 93% or 95% pair and you have to work out which one you have been handed. Medium is Eyecon’s own rating for it, and a sheet this flat with a scatter that pays from two earns that rating rather than inheriting it. Neither the help nor the splash states a maximum win. The largest figure the game commits to is the 96x heart row, doubled when the Rainbow completes it, and the scatter block that runs to 50x under the plain instruction “Scattered wins pay any”. The 25 lines, the 15-to-25 free games, and the 15-retrigger limit are numbers Enchanted Prince runs on the same engine, with a different set of drawings on top.
Symbol Payouts

Start in the middle of the sheet and work outwards. The moon and the rainbow star pay identically: 32x for a line of five and 0.8x for three, and they are the last symbols going down that still pay anything for two. Above them, the sun, the horseshoe, and the heart climb to 56x, 72x, and 96x. Below, the bluebird and the wand stop at 16x, the rose and the butterfly at 8x, and the two flowers at 4x, which is where most of what you see on the reels actually is.
| Symbol | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Heart | 0.4x | 4x | 20x | 96x |
| Horseshoe | 0.32x | 3.2x | 12x | 72x |
| Sun | 0.16x | 2.4x | 8x | 56x |
| Moon | 0.08x | 0.8x | 6x | 32x |
| Rainbow star | 0.08x | 0.8x | 6x | 32x |
| Bluebird | – | 0.64x | 4x | 16x |
| Wand | – | 0.64x | 4x | 16x |
| Butterfly | – | 0.48x | 3.2x | 8x |
| Rose | – | 0.48x | 3.2x | 8x |
| Purple flower | – | 0.32x | 2x | 4x |
| Daisy | – | 0.32x | 2x | 4x |
| Unicorn (scatter) | 2x | 5x | 10x | 50x |
Ultimate Slots Verdict
A calm, flat, single-setting Eyecon classic with one feature and no ambition above 96x. The art carries it further than the paytable does, and a scatter that pays from two keeps the reels ticking over. Pleasant enough in free play, thin if you want the numbers to build towards something.
✓ What We Like
- One published setting at 94.995%, with no lower operator build offered for the title
- The Unicorn scatter starts paying from two, so the feature symbol earns its keep outside the feature
- Rainbow doubling applies to any line win it joins, paid turns and free ones alike
- Free games reach 25 and can retrigger up to 15 times
- 13 hand-drawn symbols with no card letters padding the bottom of the grid
✗ What Could Be Better
- The 96x heart row is the highest figure the game states, and the ladder below it flattens fast
- Free games add spins and nothing else, with none of the tripling this studio's other classics carry
Detailed Review
Our Unicorn Bliss Demo Experience
Pastel blue sky, a rainbow the width of the screen, and 13 symbols that all appear to be having a lovely time. The art was drawn for someone who has never been asked to think about volatility, and the numbers underneath turn out to agree with it.
The heart at 96x is the whole upper end of this slot, and the drop from it is gentle rather than dramatic. Horseshoe 72x, sun 56x, then a long flat shelf where the moon and the rainbow star both pay 32x and everything below them stops at 16x or less. Five symbols begin paying from two, so the reels keep handing you fractions back, and the sheet almost never hands you anything you would still be thinking about an hour later. That is the design working as intended, and it is also the limit of what free play here can show you.
One feature, and it changes no maths while it runs. The free games use the paylines and the wager that triggered them and add nothing of their own, so 25 of them are 25 turns at identical odds. Eyecon’s other 25-line classics usually triple line wins while the feature is running. This help says nothing of the sort, and you notice the absence by about the tenth free turn, when the round starts to feel like the ordinary game with the price removed.
Lower Builds
A separate build called Unicorn Bliss Jackpot exists, and its base return drops to roughly 90% to feed a progressive pool. The version in front of you here is the 94.995% one, single build, with no lower operator setting hiding behind it, which is more than most of this studio’s titles can say. For a fantasy slot pitched at the calm end of a lobby, that is a quietly decent thing to be able to state plainly.
So, who is it for? Somebody who wants a pretty grid to watch and does not mind that the best available outcome is modest. Give it a stretch, and the rhythm settles fast. You will commonly see small returns, the occasional 2x Unicorn pair, a Rainbow doubling a flower line that was worth very little to begin with. Nothing in this review argues the drawings aren’t lovely. The maths under them simply never gets ambitious.
