Lady Wolf Moon’s best-paying symbol is its Wild. Five of the veiled Lady on a line pay 900x, against 75x for five blue wolves or five ladybirds, the strongest regular symbols on this 10-line slot. The game also doubles any win she completes by standing in for another symbol.
Wild Multiplier and Free Spins
The Lady Wild
She appears as a close-up of a woman’s face, bright blue eyes above a sheer pink veil drawn across her nose and lips, in a tile with a glowing magenta border. The intro screen labels her WILD X2, and BGaming calls the feature the Wild Multiplier.
She replaces any symbol except the pink orb Scatter. When she completes a line that way, the game multiplies the win by 2. She also has her own row in the table, starting at 1x for a pair and climbing to 25x for three, 250x for four, and 900x for five, while the wolf and the ladybird pay identically, topping out at 75x.
Fifteen Tripled Spins
The Scatter is a glittering pink orb with a white highlight, and it works in two ways at once. It pays wherever it lands, counted from the total bet, at 2x, 5x, 20x, and 500x for two to five, and 3, 4, or 5 orbs landing in any position start 15 Free Spins. The number of spins doesn’t grow with the number of orbs, so three and five open the same 15. With the round under way, the game triples each win in it, which is the BONUS ROUND WIN X3 that the intro screen shows under a row of five orbs. Another three to five bonus symbols during the round retrigger it, and the game puts no limit on the number of Free Spins one round can collect. The Lady can’t stand in for the orb, so starting the round, or adding to it, depends on orbs alone.
The Gamble Card
The Gamble is offered after a main-game win, and the win just landed becomes the amount at risk on the colour or suit of a face-down card. Calling Red or Black correctly doubles it, and naming Clubs, Spades, Hearts, or Diamonds multiplies it by 4. A wrong call ends the Gamble and returns the game to the main reels, while a right one offers the choice to collect or call again, until the win reaches a fourth of the game’s cap. The most Lady Wolf Moon pays is 4,684x the bet.
The Lady settles this one. Without her, the best five on a line pay 75x, the card letters manage 10x to 12.5x for five, and there is no bonus buy to start the Free Spins. With her, a 900x line and a doubled win whenever she substitutes give the game a top end far above anything the standard symbols pay, and the orbs add 15 spins at triple pay. BGaming rates it very high, which matches a table whose two largest figures belong to five Ladies on a line and five orbs on the reels. Lady Wolf Moon Megaways later took the name in another direction, but this original stays with ten fixed lines and one remarkable Wild. She is reason enough to give the demo a run.
How to Play
Slot RTP
Lady Wolf Moon’s ten lines are fixed, so every spin covers all of them, and the line figures below assume that full set. A line win is read left to right and needs the same symbol, or the Lady in its place, on each reel in an unbroken run. The pink orb is the exception, paying wherever it appears and counting from the total bet instead of from a line.
The tiles separate the symbols by colour. Each picture symbol has a tile of its own, blue for the wolf, dark crimson for the ladybird, yellow for the gold coin, orange-brown for the horseshoe, and green for the clover, while A, K, Q, J, 10, and 9 are carved letters on cream stone. The Lady’s magenta border and the orb’s dark tile mark the two symbols that follow different rules.
97.09% is the return Lady Wolf Moon lists as its RTP, one figure for the whole game, with no bonus buy or alternative mode to bring a second number. BGaming released it in December 2020, and with nothing to purchase, the orbs are the one way into the Free Spins.
Neither multiplier shows in the table. The Lady’s x2 applies when she stands in for another symbol, so four wolves with her among them pay twice the wolf row’s figure for four. During the Free Spins, the x3 applies to each win in the round, the orb’s pays included.
Symbol Payouts
A pair on a line pays for the Wild and three regular symbols: the wolf, the ladybird, and the 9. The 9 is the odd one among the card letters, since A, K, Q, J, and 10 need three before they pay. Several symbols share identical pays, among them the wolf and the ladybird, the horseshoe and the clover, the A and the K, and Q, J, and 10. Below the Lady’s 900x, five of a kind falls from 75x for the wolf to 40x for the gold coin, 25x for the horseshoe and clover, 12.5x for A and K, and 10x for the rest. Four Ladies, at 250x, outpay five of any other line symbol, and three of her match five horseshoes or five clovers at 25x. Every figure in the table is a multiple of the whole stake.
