Dead, Dead, or Deader Demo
An xNudge Wild in the Dead, Dead, or Deader demo can end three ways once it has nudged into view. The man at the bottom of the stack is hanged, and the reels respin with the Wild held. After that respin, his neck can snap a second time and double the multiplier. Or he falls through the rope, and no respin comes.
This 2025 Nolimit City slot is built around those three endings, because almost nothing else on its 5×3 reels pays much.
Slot Features
Two kinds of Wild work the reels. The skull Wild’s multiplier climbs with each further reel that holds a Wild, to x5 at most. The xNudge Wild is the stacked one, and it does most of the work.
The xNudge Wild

It lands only on the three middle reels, always as a stack. When part of it hangs off the board, it nudges until the whole stack shows, and each nudge lifts its multiplier by 1. Two or three of them on one spin add their multipliers together, with x999 as the limit.
Hanged, Snapped or Dropped
The Hanging is the plain outcome. The man at the bottom of the stack is hanged, and the reels spin again around the xNudge Wild, which stays in place.
The Deadlock can follow when that respin finishes. A second neck snap doubles the multiplier and keeps the Wild for another respin, and the counter above the reels shows the value the next respin will use before it starts.
The Dropout is the cruel one. The man is hanged but slips out of the noose, so no respin is given. If he drops after a respin, the multiplier falls back to its earlier value and the sequence stops.
Back on the Gallows
Nolimit City has sent xNudge west before. Deadwood xNudge arrived in 2020 with a 13,950x cap, and two years later the studio put up its own gallows in Tombstone R.I.P, with free spins called Hang ’em High and a 300,000x cap. R.I.P kept its rope for the bonus. This February 2025 release hands it to the Wild instead, and its cap lands between the other two.
Tombstone Scatters
The tombstones are the Scatters, and reel 1 never shows one. Three start 12 Dead Spins, and four start 12 Deader Spins. A pair outside the free spins doesn’t go to waste, since both turn into skull Wilds valued by their reel order.
Dead and Deader Spins
Both rounds keep each xNudge Wild on the reels for at least one more spin, and its multiplier grows before the next spin starts. Dead Spins double it. Deader Spins triple it. Nothing continues after the final spin of the round.
A tombstone on reel 5 during Dead Spins switches the round to Deader Spins and adds 2 spins.
These rounds have more than half of the game’s return. Of the 96.09% RTP, 45.07% comes from regular play and 51.02% from Dead and Deader Spins.
The Casket
The Casket has no row on the pay table. On a base-game spin, a Casket stacked the full height of any reel awards Just Die Already, the 19,349x maximum, and the round stops there. Wins that pass the same figure in any round close it the same way. A Casket that lands short of a full stack is dead and pays nothing. The splash marks this instant win with Nolimit’s xGOD logo.
xBet at 1.5x
xBet is the game’s Booster. Switched on, it makes each round cost 1.5x the normal bet and fixes a tombstone on reel 2, so any two more on reels 3 to 5 start Dead Spins.
How to Play
A Wild for Every Reel
The skull Wild takes its multiplier from reel order, not from reel position. The first reel with a Wild, counting from the left, gives x1, the next reel with one gives x2, and so on to x5. Wilds that share a reel share the value, so a lone Wild on reel 5 is worth x1, and Wilds on reels 2 and 5 read x1 and x2. The skull can become any paying symbol, never a tombstone, and two stray tombstones in base play turn Wild at the same count.
Wins use 243 ways. A symbol pays when it appears on adjacent reels that begin with the first reel, and a symbol showing twice on one reel doubles the ways it wins on.
Return and Stakes
Stakes here stretch between €0.20 and €100, the span Nolimit City sets for this game. Return to player stands at 96.09%, and xBet mode returns 96.11%. Nolimit’s loading art marks the volatility Extreme, our scale stops at High, and a pay table this flat backs the harsher word. Expect long runs of small or empty results between xNudge features. A toggle in the settings lets the space bar start each round.
Symbol Payouts
The outlaw heads the table at 1.2x for five, 0.8x for four, and 0.4x for three. The revolvers, sheriff’s star, moonshine jug, and shackles follow at 0.9x down to 0.75x for five, and the royals pay 0.4x to 0.3x for five and 0.1x to 0.15x for three. Five of any royal pay no more than three outlaws. The skull Wild’s 1.2x row needs Wilds on every position before it pays.

Ultimate Slots Verdict
Resting on one Wild and very little else, it works because that Wild is so carefully scripted. The Hanging, the Deadlock, and the Dropout give each xNudge landing real tension, even though the other symbols pay very little.
✓ What We Like
- The xNudge Wild's three endings give each landing a different possible outcome
- The Deadlock doubles a held Wild's multiplier, and the counter shows the next value in advance
- A full Casket stack can pay the maximum in one main-game spin
✗ What Could Be Better
- No symbol pays more than 1.2x for five, so most results between features are small
- The Dropout can cancel a respin and take back the multiplier the previous respin built
Detailed Review
Three Ways to Hang
The xNudge Wild is scripted closely enough to hold up this slot by itself. Its three endings are spelled out, the counter shows the next respin’s multiplier before the reels move, and the Deadlock gives a nudged Wild a second life at double the value.
Nolimit City said at launch that the game “showcases xNudge in all its glory”, and the rules back the claim. Most of what this review has to say is about that Wild, since the rest of the board offers little to discuss. The best symbol pays barely more than the bet for five, the other premiums stay under 1x, and even the skull Wild needs the whole screen before it pays on its own.
The Dropout is the harsh part. After a respin, it can take back the multiplier that respin just built, and nothing follows it. Watching a stacked Wild climb and then drop through the trapdoor is the swing the game is designed to deliver, and it stings when the number was large.
The cap is modest too, a fraction of what Tombstone R.I.P allows.
Dead and Deader Spins give the Wild more room. Held Wilds that double or triple before each spin grow fast, and a tombstone on reel 5 moving Dead Spins up to Deader Spins is a smart touch, because one late Scatter can change the whole round.
Blood-spattered Artwork
The art is simple and consistent. Blood-spattered wanted-poster paper, black ink, typewriter royals, and tombstones stamped DEAD SPINS put it squarely in Wild West territory, and the gallows humour never gets in the way of reading the reels.
Anyone after a busy main game should pick something else. Anyone curious how far one Wild can be stretched will get plenty out of the free play.
