The Wealth Inn Demo

Three red drums bow outward at you, wrapped in gold knotwork, while lanterns glow in the hall behind them. That’s the Wealth Inn demo before you’ve pressed a thing, and it looks the part. Habanero likens the curved display to a physical classic machine, and this slot plays like one, on three reels and eight fixed lines with no feature round to wander off into.
Red curtains hang across the top of the screen, bamboo panels stand left and right, and the gold-and-red logo sparkles with gold coins flying off it between two meters, Minor Jackpot on one side and Grand Jackpot on the other. Cai Shen, the God of Wealth, is on the reels from the start in the shape of a small red-and-gold headdress. He only grows into his full figure when a win calls for him.

Headdress to Cai Shen

The headdress is the reel Wild, a compact red hat with gold scrollwork and gold beads along the top, and its rule is short. When one lands inside a winning combination, the headdress opens out into the full Cai Shen WILD and covers all three positions on its reel before the game pays anything. Cai Shen replaces any symbol, so once he fills a reel, all three of those positions count as Wild when the lines are paid.
The expansion only happens on a spin where the headdress is already part of a win, so it always arrives on top of a pay. A line of three Cai Shen Wilds pays 23.5x, the highest row on the table, well clear of the peach at 7.25x.
Mixed Knot Pays
The bottom half of the table belongs to three Chinese knots, gold, red, and green cord tied round square-holed coins. Three gold knots pay 1x, three red ones 0.625x, and three green ones 0.375x. Then, there’s the row marked ANY, which pays 0.25x when a line holds any mix of the three knots, so gold, red, and green together still pay, and so do two reds and a green. A mixed line earns a quarter of what three gold knots do, which is little, but it isn’t nothing.
It’s a small kindness on a small table, and it’s why a line of three different knots isn’t automatically a miss. Above the knots, the gold ingot pays 2.25x, the jade ruyi sceptre 3.5x, and the peach 7.25x, so the climb from the ANY row to the peach is gentle all the way up.
Habanero’s Progressive Jackpot
The two meters above the reels belong to a Progressive Jackpot that the game triggers at random. It can be won when any game ends, and the game adds whatever it pays to the other wins on that spin, so there’s no symbol to collect and no trigger to line up.
Wealth Inn came out in July 2020 with just two extras, this jackpot and the expanding Wild. There’s no scatter, no free spins, and no bonus round to work toward, which leaves the eight lines and the paytable to do everything else. If you came for a bonus round, this isn’t your game; if you like seeing the whole paytable at a glance, it might be.
How to Play
Demo RTP
All eight lines are fixed in Wealth Inn, so you pick a stake and leave the lines alone, and stakes go from 0.08 to 1,600 a spin. The lines are the three rows, both diagonals, two V shapes (one of them upside down), and an eighth that dips from the middle row to the bottom and back. With three reels and no two-symbol pays, any line win runs the full width of the board. There are no side bets, bet modes, or buy options to weigh up either. Over time, you get back 96.67% of what you stake. Habanero rates it Low for volatility, which points to smaller swings in both directions, and the table below shows how short the top end is.
Game Paytable
Every row pays for three symbols on a line starting at the leftmost reel. The last row pays for any mix of the three knots. The four higher symbols, Cai Shen, the peach, the jade ruyi sceptre, and the gold ingot, range from 23.5x down to 2.25x, while the knots and the ANY row fill the bottom from 1x to 0.25x. No row pays for two symbols, and Cai Shen’s 23.5x is the only figure in double digits. The Progressive Jackpot isn’t on the table. It pays separately, at random, on top of line wins.
| Symbol | 3 on a line (x total bet) |
|---|---|
| Cai Shen Wild | 23.5x |
| Peach | 7.25x |
| Jade ruyi sceptre | 3.5x |
| Gold ingot | 2.25x |
| Gold knot | 1x |
| Red knot | 0.625x |
| Green knot | 0.375x |
| Any mix of knots | 0.25x |

Detailed Review
Wealth Inn Review
Wealth Inn’s whole personality fits under a small red-and-gold hat. When the headdress lands as part of a winning line, Cai Shen grows out of it, fills his reel, and all three spots there turn Wild before anything pays. You’ll catch yourself watching for that hat, and there’s a small sag when it lands outside a win and simply stays a headdress. It’s a neat touch all the same, the god arriving only once the reels have already agreed to pay.
Habanero dressed the place well. The drum reels have real curvature to them, the knots are tied in gold, red, and green cord with tassels hanging below, the peach is glossy pink with two green leaves underneath, and the ingot is a boat-shaped lump of engraved gold. Cai Shen, when he does appear, smiles with his eyes closed under a beaded headdress, WILD written in gold across his chest.
There’s a fair case for keeping it this simple. The Wild replaces any symbol, the jackpot can land at random when any game ends, and with every line fixed you never have to think about coverage. Cai Shen also expands in Fa Cai Shen Deluxe, a 6×5 game whose 28 lines pay across and down, but Wealth Inn gives him far less room. Here, he works with three reels, eight lines, and a short paytable, so even a full Wild reel lands on modest numbers.
Habanero gives Wealth Inn a top multiplier of 188x, and that number settles it.
That’s the honest shape of this slot, and it’s why the review lands where it does. The Wild can lift a line, the jackpot can drop in after any game, and the ANY row keeps mixed knots from being dead weight, but there’s no feature round to build toward and no symbol that pays big, just the jackpot meters creeping upward above the reels. As free play for a calm few minutes, it’s tidy and good-looking. As something to come back to for range, it runs out of things to say quickly.
