Mystic Fortune Demo by Habanero

Mystic Fortune is a better game than its plain 25-line board lets on. Two different symbols open the same round in this Habanero slot. Three or more scatter women anywhere give 15 free games, three or more phoenix Wilds anywhere give 10, and every prize is tripled during those free games either way. The game lists one difference between the two routes, the number of games, so there’s no second rulebook to learn. That simplicity is the reason to give the demo a few minutes.
A fortune slot staged on a night lake, it puts purple reels inside a teal key-pattern border, with a lit palace skyline reflected in the water behind and pink lotus lanterns glowing in the corners. Numbered payline tabs run down both sides of the reels. The symbols stay on theme: a red 福 medallion, a white lion-dance head with a curly teal mane, a teal censer with three red incense sticks, and a red-and-white palace lantern, with the card letters each perched on a white cloud.
Slot Features
Tripled Free Games

A plaque above the reels pairs the woman and the phoenix over the words 3 TRIGGERS FEATURE, and it applies to both symbols. Three or more scatter women anywhere award 15 free games. Three or more phoenix Wilds anywhere award 10, and they count wherever they land, on a payline or off it. Whichever symbol opens the round, all prizes are tripled during these free games, so the bonus has one rule to follow and you know the value of every symbol in it before it starts. The feature can be retriggered, so a round that opens at 10 or 15 games can run on past that. Because the Wild triggers by count rather than by position, it does two jobs in Mystic Fortune, standing in on lines and adding to the trigger the way a scatter would. Two routes, one result, and a single x3 on everything the round pays.
Phoenix Wild Pays
The phoenix is a rainbow bird with a red and orange crest, green, yellow, and pink feathers, and a long tail that curls round in a loop. It’s also the strongest symbol on a line. Five pay 600x, the top figure in the paytable, ahead of the red Fu medallion’s 400x. On top of its own pays, the phoenix replaces any symbol except the scatter woman, letting it fill a gap in a line of lion heads or lanterns as well as paying for itself. That gives a phoenix landing two kinds of value, once for the line it might finish and once as one of the three or more anywhere that open 10 free games.
Scatter Pays From Two
The woman is the scatter. She faces forward with her black hair piled up under a gold headdress full of pink and orange flowers, framed in a green circle with gold ornament. She doesn’t need a third copy to pay. Two anywhere pay 1x the total bet, and five pay 250x. The game adds scatter wins to line wins, so one spin can pay on a line and on the scatter together. A spin that stops one woman short of the free games still pays something, which takes a little of the sting out of the near miss.
How to Play
Game RTP
96% is Mystic Fortune’s RTP, a long-run average worked out over a very large number of spins rather than a guide to any short run of play. Habanero gives 1,947x as the game’s top multiplier and labels the volatility Medium. That label cuts both ways. A spin can pay well above the stake, and a run of spins can also pay nothing.
All 25 paylines are fixed, numbered on coloured tabs down both sides of the reels, so each spin plays the full set. Lines pay from the leftmost reel, while the scatter woman pays in any position, which is why her row in the table below reads differently from the rest.
Mystic Fortune Payouts
Read the table from the bottom and it stays flat for a long way. Three of Q, J, 10, or 9 pay 0.2x, the same as two Fu medallions, and none of those four cards pays for two. A and K do pay for two, at 0.08x, and reach 20x for five. The picture symbols open up the spread, from the lantern at 40x for five up through the incense urn and the lion dance head to the Fu medallion. The lion and the urn both pay 4x for three, so the gap between them only shows at four and five. The phoenix Wild heads the table, and the scatter woman is the one row paid in any position. Values are stake multiples, and the free games pay the same values, tripled.

Ultimate Slots Verdict
The dual trigger defines Mystic Fortune. Three or more scatter women or three or more phoenix Wilds anywhere open free games, and every prize is tripled during them, so both routes reach the same simple round. The phoenix also heads the paytable. The card ranks are weak, with Q to 9 paying nothing for two, and regular play is modest. It's a well-judged slot that rewards a look past its plain board.

Detailed Review
Our Review
Mystic Fortune earns 3.8/5 in this review because both of its triggers lead to the same tripled round, and that round is easy to follow from the moment it starts. The board looks like a stock 25-line slot, five reels of lanterns, censers, and card letters on clouds, and for a while it plays like one. What lifts it is the phoenix, which pays the top prize in the paytable and also counts toward the free games wherever it lands, with three or more opening 10 games, so each Wild matters twice.
The weak spot is the bottom of the paytable. Q, J, 10, and 9 need three of a kind to pay anything, and three of them pay 0.2x. A and K manage 20x for five, the best any card symbol does. Outside the free games, this is a modest slot, and the scatter’s 1x for two is a small cushion rather than a reason to play.
The triple is why the verdict still lands above average. One x3 on every prize is a plain rule, and here it covers the whole table, the scatter pays and the phoenix’s line pays included. You can work out what any symbol is worth in the round by looking at the table and multiplying by three. That includes the scatter, so two women landing during the round pay three times their usual 1x. Some players will want more happening once the round starts. A bonus that explains itself in one line suits this board better than a stack of modifiers would.
Two women on the reels is the moment the game keeps building toward, and the plaque above the reels keeps both trigger symbols in view while you wait. They pay 1x anywhere on their own, but the eye still goes straight to the remaining reels for a third. Knowing that pull is there makes it easier to ignore over a long free-play session.
Habanero came back to these two symbols later. In Mystic Fortune Deluxe, the roles swap, with the princess as the Wild and the Vermilion Bird as the scatter, on a bigger board. This one is the simpler of the pair. It’s a tidy slot with one good idea, done cleanly.
