Hacksaw Gaming Le Prechaun Demo

Le Prechaun splash with three hanging banners in a green wood
Three wooden banners hang in a green wood, one showing a vine-wrapped frame marked x100, the next a green FS shield beside a rainbow and a cloud, and the last a pot of gold spilling coins.

Le Prechaun’s demo turns on one claim, that a Wild is worth more after it has paid. Once its win is settled, its square keeps an x2 Position Multiplier, and each later Wild win there doubles the mark, up to x100. The mark then multiplies any win crossing that square, so the slot’s reach grows from squares Wilds have already used.

July 2026 brought Smokey back in Hacksaw’s long-running Le series, this time in a green top hat, glaring beside the board with a gold-tipped wand. A ginger false beard makes the costume pure leprechaun.

Features and Free Play

Position Multipliers

Le Prechaun reels with a pink x2 Position Multiplier on reel 5
A pink x2 Position Multiplier now frames the 10 in reel 5’s bottom row, the square a Wild won on in this 0.6x win, with two FS shields on the grid and Smokey glaring in his green top hat to the right.

Le Prechaun pays a Wild’s win before it marks the square, and only another Wild win there doubles the mark. A mark multiplies an ordinary cluster crossing it but keeps its own value.

Several marks in one win multiply one another instead of adding up.

Marks also multiply any Coin, Clover, Bag of Gold, or Pot of Gold a Rainbow reveals on their square. In regular play, they last until the spin is over, acting as Golden Squares; in all three bonuses, they stay until the bonus is over.

The Rainbow Reveal

Super Cascades take every regular copy of the winning symbol off the board, and the squares under the winners turn gold. A Rainbow opens those Golden Squares into Coins, Clovers, Bags of Gold, or Pots of Gold, while an Epic Rainbow opens every position. Clovers act first, then Bags, then Pots, and the total pays in multiples of the bet.

Free Spins

Arc Adventure

Three FS shields start Arc Adventure, a 10-spin bonus. Golden Squares wait for a Rainbow, and every Position Multiplier stays until the last spin. The Lucky Charm Bar steps up with each FS symbol and reaches a level on every fifth, each level adding 5 spins. Level 1 places 2 Position Multipliers, Level 2 places 3 more, and Level 3 brings a Rainbow on every later spin. Le Fisherman’s Big Catch Bar also levels up on every fifth FS, but its levels change what the Rainbow becomes, while this bar hands out marks.

Clover the Top

Four FS shields open Clover the Top, 10 spins under the same bar, and here a Golden Square stays lit after a Rainbow has opened it. After an Epic Rainbow, only the squares lit before it remain.

Five FS shields trigger Shamrock ‘N’ Roll, the Hidden Epic Bonus, with 10 spins of Clover the Top, the bar fixed at Level 3, every Coin at least 1x, and no FS able to land.

Five Bonus Buy Options

Le Prechaun bonus buy panel with five options
A gold rainbow arcs between two clovers on the RainbowRide Epic Drop card, priced at 500x, while the 75x RainbowRide card shows a plain rainbow and three FS cards ask 3x, 60x and 250x.

The buy options come with their own volatility labels, and the two cheapest are the two Low ones. BonusHunt FeatureSpins costs 3x the bet for each spin and puts the bonus chance at five times the normal rate, and Arc Adventure costs 60x. The Medium pair are RainbowRide at 75x, bringing a Rainbow or Epic Rainbow and Coins of at least 1x, and Clover the Top at 250x. RainbowRide Epic Drop, the one Very high option, charges 500x for an Epic Rainbow every time. The buy panel doesn’t sell Shamrock ‘N’ Roll.

How to Play

Coin Tiers

The header above the reels shows the four Coin tiers a Rainbow can reveal, Bronze at 0.2x to 4x, Silver at 5x to 10x, Gold at 20x to 50x, and Diamond at 100x to 500x, and a Position Multiplier on a Coin’s square multiplies the Coin once it is revealed. A win needs at least 5 of the same symbol, joined side to side or top to bottom.

The tiers are not smooth ranges. A Bronze Coin shows 0.2x, 0.4x, 1x, 2x, 3x, or 4x, and a Silver one 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x, 9x, or 10x. Gold is 20x, 30x, 40x, or 50x, and Diamond offers only 100x, 150x, 250x, or 500x. Both RainbowRide settings and Shamrock ‘N’ Roll raise every Coin to at least 1x, so the Bronze values under 1x drop out there.

Clover Multipliers

Marks reach further than the Coins. A mark under a Clover multiplies the Clover’s own figure once it is revealed, and a mark under a Bag of Gold or Pot of Gold multiplies it once it has gathered its total, so a Diamond Coin that already shows 100x to 500x can meet one mark on the Coin’s square and another on the Bag or Pot that gathers it.

Clovers change Coins instead of paying on their own. A Green Clover multiplies the Coins, Bags, and Pots on the squares around it by x2, x3, x4, x5, x10, or x20, and a Gold Clover applies the same range to every one on the board. A Clover with nothing beside it waits until there is something on the board to multiply. FS shields, Rainbows, and Epic Rainbows never land together, so a spin that triggers a bonus can’t also open its Golden Squares.

Slot RTP

Le Prechaun’s bet starts at €0.05 and stops at €50. The RTP is 96.28%. Every buy price is a multiple of whichever bet is chosen, so a bigger bet makes the whole menu more expensive.

Ultimate Slots Verdict

Several Le games before it rely on the Rainbow chain, and Le Prechaun changes more than the costume around it. That chain returns here, but the Wild now leaves a doubling x2 behind, and several marks in one win multiply one another, which gives every bonus a second way to grow. The Lucky Charm Bar hands out more marks at its first two levels. Regular play is thinner, since the marks clear after every regular spin and Coins wait on a Rainbow, yet the bonuses justify the rating.

4.3/5 Excellent

✓ What We Like

  • Marks in one win multiply each other
  • Marks boost Coins, Clovers, Bags, and Pots on their squares
  • Bonus marks stay until the last free spin

Detailed Review

Smokey in a Green Hat

The Position Multiplier is the reason to play Le Prechaun, because it gives the Wild a second job that outlasts its own win and, in the bonuses, outlasts the spin. Earlier Le games built on the Rainbow rely on its Coins and the multipliers and collectors that follow, so a big result depends on how many Golden Squares are open when a Rainbow arrives; in this game, a square a Wild has won on more than once already has a doubled mark before any Coin is revealed, and a Coin opened on that square takes it on.

The multiplying rule is what separates the idea from a simple sticky multiplier. Marks multiply each other within a cluster, and they multiply the Rainbow’s prizes on their squares as well, so in Arc Adventure or Clover the Top, where every mark survives to the last spin, the board slowly turns into a map of where Wilds have been and where the bar has dropped its marks. The Lucky Charm Bar feeds the same engine, placing marks at its first two levels before Level 3 turns every later spin into a Rainbow spin. The bonuses are built on the tension of a mark climbing while the bar edges toward its next level, and a bonus that never fills the bar’s first level leaves most of that unused.

The weigh-up is mostly about regular play. Outside the bonuses, each mark disappears when the spin ends, so the new rule reaches no further than the cascades and Coins of that same spin, and a Coin pays nothing without a Rainbow to reveal it. The top hat needs 14 or more copies for its 200x, and the 10 to A pay 0.2x for five, so the cluster table exists to feed Wilds and Golden Squares rather than to decide the game by itself. The 15,000x cap is open in every mode, including regular play, and Shamrock ‘N’ Roll, which starts where the other two bonuses hope to finish, only comes from five scatters.

This review ends on a slot whose best idea is still growing. A few bonuses in free play explain it faster than the rules do, because the marks show exactly where the multipliers are building. If the series continues after this one, Position Multipliers look like the rule worth keeping.

Frequently Asked Questions

A mark starts at x2 when a Wild in a win claims the square and doubles every time another Wild wins there, stopping at x100. Two marks in the same win multiply each other, so the combined figure can go past what one square shows.
They stay on the board until the bonus finishes, in all three bonuses. Outside the bonuses, each mark clears once the spin that made it is over.
Level 3, and Le Prechaun keeps it there throughout, so a Rainbow lands each time the reels stop. Every Coin also shows at least 1x, and no FS can land. Five FS scatters are the only way in.
