Le Santa from Hacksaw Gaming dresses Smokey the raccoon in a Santa hat and drops him into a snow-covered woodland, but underneath the Christmas wrapping sits the same Golden Squares and cascade engine that powers every cluster-based Le Series slot. Every winning cluster is removed from the grid after it pays, and new symbols drop into the empty positions from above. The cascade continues until no new wins form. Each winning combination leaves behind Golden Squares on the positions where the winning symbols sat, and these squares persist on the grid until a Rainbow symbol activates them.
Golden Squares sit dormant until a Rainbow symbol appears on the grid. When it does, the Rainbow activates all collected Golden Squares after cascade wins have finished. Each activated square reveals a special symbol underneath, drawn from a pool that includes Bronze, Silver, or Gold Coins, Santa Sacks, Green or Gold Clovers, and Jackpot Boxes.
Coins pay as multiples of the bet. Bronze Coins carry values from 0.2x to 4x, Silver from 5x to 20x, and Gold from 25x to 500x.
After all Golden Squares have been revealed, Clover symbols activate next. Green Clovers multiply all Coins and Santa Sacks on adjacent squares by x2 to x20. Gold Clovers apply their multiplier to every Coin and Sack on the entire grid.
Santa Sacks activate last, collecting the values of all Coins and other Sacks on the board. The final payout adds everything together and multiplies it by the bet amount.
Jackpot Boxes can land directly on the grid or be revealed inside Golden Squares. Four tiers are available — Mini (10x), Major (100x), Mega (1,000x), and Max Win (20,000x). They activate when they appear alongside a Rainbow symbol. Only one of each tier can land per spin, but up to four different Jackpot Boxes can appear simultaneously.

Le Santa wraps the Le Series' Golden Squares loop in a Christmas skin and adds jackpot boxes to the mix, but the gap between our two bonus sessions was hard to ignore. The free-triggered Silent Heist at 1.00 delivered a 126.30 finish, driven by a 93.20 activation on the second spin. The Sleighing It buy-in at 250x returned 33.10. Hacksaw's seasonal polish is strong, and the bonus structure has genuine depth across its three tiers, though the reskin label is accurate.
The Golden Squares persistence across bonus spins is the standout. In Silent Heist, squares accumulate spin after spin until a Rainbow activates the full collection at once, meaning two or three spins of building can pay off in a single activation. The three-tier bonus structure adds meaningful upgrades at each level, with Sleighing It’s sticky squares and Wreck the Halls’ guaranteed Rainbows paired with Silver and Gold Coins only. Regular play produces frequent small wins, and the cascade system keeps rounds moving. Golden Squares build up reliably, and the Rainbow symbol appeared often enough in our session to prevent them from stacking too deep before activation. The reveal sequence when a Rainbow hits is where the game comes alive, with Coins, Clovers, and Sacks playing out in order and multiplying through each other.
