Tombstone Begins Demo

Every Revolver in the Tombstone Begins demo is loaded with 3 to 6 bullets, and it fires one of them each spin. One bullet turns a symbol Wild. Others double a multiplier, upgrade a symbol everywhere it appears, or set up an xNudge Wild over the middle reels with multiplier bullets worth up to x100 each. Nolimit City released this prequel in May 2026 to show the outlaws riding into town. The Revolver is the series’ best new idea in years, and the cap is far below the recent sequels, so this slot is a trade. It joins the site’s other Wild West slots as the earliest chapter of the story.
Game Features
Win Respins
Any win triggers a respin. The winning symbols stick, along with every other copy of that symbol on the board, and each new symbol that sticks earns another respin. Wilds and Revolvers can stick too, and so can the Bonus, but only outside free spins.
Nudging Wilds
Two bullet types hit the space above reels 2, 3, and 4 instead of the reels. An xNudge Wild bullet activates a Wild there. When the respins run out, that Wild nudges down until it is fully in view, and each step is worth +1 on its multiplier. An xNudge Multiplier bullet adds x2, x3, x10, or x100 to the Wild on its reel, and they add together. An xSplit bullet can then double whatever the Wild has.
Before the Shootouts
Begins is set before the 2019 original, and it brings back that game’s Gunslinger Spins name. The later games chased size. R.I.P reached 300,000x in 2022, No Mercy remade the original in 2024, and Slaughter: El Gordo’s Revenge went to 500,000x in 2025. Begins stops at 20,000x. It also moves from the original’s 108 ways to 22 fixed lines, and it replaces the old multiplier Wilds with Revolvers.
Free Spins
Gunslinger Spins
Three Bonus symbols start 6 Gunslinger Spins, and each extra Bonus is worth one more spin. The bonus lands 1 in 216 spins on average. The xNudge multiplier does not reset between Gunslinger Spins, so it keeps climbing.
Outlaw and Widowmaker Spins
Four Bonus symbols give 8 Outlaw Spins, where every Revolver arrives with all six chambers full. Five give 10 Widowmaker Spins, and the Revolvers also empty every bullet left before the xNudge Wilds activate. Once all of them have fired, wins made by a bullet stop earning respins.
Four Boosters
The Bonus Booster costs 2x the bet a spin, puts a Bonus on reel 2 every time, and returns 96.04%, one of four Boosters alongside xNudge Showdown at 30x, xNudge Fully Loaded at 190x, and Revolver Mayhem at 999x a spin.
The Offer After the Bonus
When a bonus ends, the game can sell you an Extra Spin. It keeps the last spin’s xNudge multipliers and brings a Revolver with an xNudge bullet, at a price set by those multipliers. The game’s rules say the optimal return to player is reached by declining.
How to Play
Six Bullets, One a Spin

A Revolver can land on any reel with 3 to 6 bullets loaded, and it fires one bullet on every spin. Most bullets aim at regular paying symbols. With more than one Revolver on the board, they fire one at a time, working across the reels in order and down each reel.
- Wild turns its target into a Wild.
- xSplit doubles the multiplier on a paying symbol or a Wild.
- Upgrade changes a symbol and every copy of it into a random higher-paying symbol. Gold bars can’t be upgraded.
- xNudge Wild activates a nudging Wild above reel 2, 3, or 4.
- xNudge Multiplier adds x2, x3, x10, or x100 to that reel’s xNudge Wild.
- Random turns into a different bullet as it fires.
Two more symbols change the ammunition. An Unleash star makes every Revolver fire all its remaining bullets. A Refill ammo box reloads every Revolver to six. Only one of each can land on a spin.
Wins count on 22 fixed lines across reels of 4, 5, 5, 5, and 4 rows, beginning on reel 1. Each line pays its best combination, and the game adds up wins on different lines.
Bets and RTP
From a €0.20 floor, the bet goes up to €100 a spin. The RTP is 96.02%, a fraction under the Bonus Booster’s figure. Long runs without the bonus are normal, so judge the demo over a few hundred spins.
Symbol Payouts
Gold bars top the table at 10x for five on a line. The card ranks are packed close together, from 1.8x for five aces down to 1x for five tens, and every symbol pays from three.
| Symbol | 3 | 4 | 5 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gold bars | 1x | 2x | 10x |
| Money bag | 0.8x | 1.6x | 7x |
| Dynamite | 0.7x | 1.4x | 5x |
| Pistol | 0.6x | 1.2x | 4x |
| Knife | 0.5x | 1x | 3x |
| A | 0.2x | 0.5x | 1.8x |
| K | 0.2x | 0.5x | 1.6x |
| Q | 0.15x | 0.3x | 1.4x |
| J | 0.15x | 0.3x | 1.2x |
| 10 | 0.15x | 0.3x | 1x |
| Wild (full board only) | 1x | 2x | 10x |
The Wild row matches gold bars, but the game pays it only when Wilds cover the entire board. On any other spin, a Wild can complete a line of any symbol except the Bonus, which has no line pay.
Ultimate Slots Verdict
A Revolver that fires every spin gives this prequel the best new system in the Tombstone series, and Win Respins let each gun keep shooting for longer. In return, you accept a cap far below R.I.P and Slaughter, just 22 lines to pay on, and Boosters that get costly quickly. For players who enjoy watching a board change shot by shot, it's a strong, well-built game.
✓ What We Like
- Revolvers fire one bullet a spin, so every spin shows a visible countdown
- Six bullet types, from plain Wilds to x100 xNudge multipliers
- Win Respins stick every copy of a winning symbol and give a sticky Revolver more shots
- The xNudge multiplier never resets between Gunslinger Spins
- Outlaw and Widowmaker Spins change how the guns behave, not just the spin count
✗ What Could Be Better
- A far smaller cap than R.I.P or Slaughter
- 22 fixed lines give the main game a narrow pay structure
- The Boosters that load the xNudge bullets cost a lot per spin
Detailed Review
Tombstone Begins Review
The art sets the tone before any rule does. Wanted posters line the splash, a Revolver with a skull on its cylinder is pinned in front of them, and the reels hang in a rope-tied timber frame under a bull skull. The palette is dust brown and dried red, and the bright spots are the yellow Revolver and the coloured bullets in it. El Gordo, whose revenge drives Slaughter, rides in among the outlaws.
The Revolver is the best idea this series has had since the nudging Wild. Each gun is a small countdown on the board. You can see how many bullets are left and what colour they are, so the main game gives you something to read on every spin instead of a blank wait for Bonus symbols. Upgrade bullets are the understated highlight, since one shot can lift every copy of a card rank on the board at once. Win Respins add to it, because a Revolver that sticks gets more spins to empty its chambers. A gun with one bullet left is built to keep you pressing spin, and it does that well.
The cost is size. R.I.P goes to 300,000x and Slaughter to 500,000x, and Begins offers a small part of what the later games trained players to expect. The 22 fixed lines are also a narrow way to pay on 23 positions, next to the 108 ways of the original. The Boosters that load the round with xNudge bullets get expensive fast.
Some of that is deliberate. Nolimit City’s own volatility score puts Begins below the 2019 game, making this the gentler Tombstone by the studio’s measure, and a smaller cap fits a story set before the big shootouts. The Gunslinger Spins name comes back from 2019 with the same idea behind it, a multiplier that never resets, now fed by xNudge Multiplier bullets worth up to x100.
Players who came to the series for six-figure caps will find them later in the timeline. Anyone who likes a board that changes shot by shot will find more to watch here, and it’s a good reason to try free play before the sequels. It’s one of the Nolimit City slots where the main game matters as much as the bonus, and for this review, the Revolver is the reason to play it.
