About Game

Soaked by Seamen Slot

A New Bet Riding on Every Spin

Nolimit City’s sailors are off the boat and stranded on a desert island, and the studio has come back with a bigger load. Soaked by Seamen slot keeps the engine that drove the first game, the position multipliers that stack through Fire Frames and Win Respins and carry straight into the free spins, then bolts new parts on. There is a Side Hustle side bet, a Lucky Lighter, bananas that erupt into full columns of wilds, and a cap renamed King Dong that pays 30,000x where the orginal Seamen topped out at 20,000x. Same crew, more going on.

What Washed Up New

The Side Hustle

The Side Hustle is the one addition aimed at standard play, not the bonus. It is an optional bet layered over your stake, and it pays a set amount if the event you backed happens, whatever the reels do around it. Each one targets a different event.

  • 5, 7 or 10 Fire Frames landing in one spin
  • a position multiplier reaching 20x
  • a Banana expanding
  • a Dead Spin, aka spin that draws a blank

The extra charge runs from a fraction of your stake to several times it, and the return scales to match. Back the 5-frame bet, watch 5 of them light up, and it hands you 7.20x on its own, stacked over any line win that came with it. You can run more than one at once, though the cost climbs with every card you add.

Fire Frames and Win Respins

This is the machinery Seamen ran on, carried over intact. Every spin scatters Fire Frames onto random spots, each one adding 1x to that position’s multiplier, and a winning symbol sitting on a frame takes 2x instead of the usual 1x. Any win then removes its symbols and respins the gaps, raising each winning position by another 1x and dropping in one more frame as it goes, so a lucky drop can chain into a run of respins with the numbers climbing every step.

The Lucky Lighter feeds it from a different angle, picking one paying symbol and dropping a frame on every position that shows it. xWays symbols, Nolimit’s ways-multiplying tiles, split into 2 to 4 copies of one symbol and push the ways count well past the 225 the grid opens on.

The Banana Wilds

A Banana lands carrying a number from 1 to 3. It sits and respins that many times, then bursts to cover its entire reel in Banana Wilds, a full column that works as any paying symbol. Drop it on a busy reel with multipliers stacked around it, and the expansion can make a flat grid pay in a beat. It is the strongest turn regular play can take without buying a booster.

A Banana expanded into a full column of Banana Wilds down one reel of the grid One Banana, one full reel of wilds, landing with position multipliers already sitting either side of it.

The Coconut and Blowfish Bombs

Bombs only go off on spins that pay nothing, and this sequel carries 2 of them. The Coconut Bomb clears itself and drops a multiplier boost of 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x or 100x onto its spot on top of the usual increase. Its Blowfish cousin wipes itself and every regular symbol beside it, though it will not go off at all if a Coconut sits anywhere on the reels.

Either way, a bombed position gains 1x, or 2x if a frame sat there, so a no-win spin still leaves the grid a little more loaded for the respin that follows.

Rigged and Super Rigged Spins

3 Bonus symbols trigger Rigged Spins, a run of 5 free spins that keeps every position multiplier you were holding when it began. 4 Bonus symbols open the bigger Super Rigged round, 8 spins that carry those multipliers and tend to drop more Fire Frames per spin. A Bonus landing during either round adds 1 more spin, so a lively bonus can stretch itself out. Both are the trick Seamen was built on, and each lives or dies on how loaded the grid was when it triggered.

The Nolimit Boosters

To skip the wait, you can buy a shortcut spin by spin.

  • Bonus Booster, 2.5x, plants a Bonus on reel 2
  • Nutty Spin, 40x, opens with 4 Coconuts and a Banana
  • Nuttier Spin, 400x, opens with 10 Coconuts and a Banana
  • The Load spins start you on raised multipliers, from 3x at 9x up to 15x at 3,000x

The Feature Buys

Straight buys sit alongside the boosters. Rigged Spins cost 100x, Super Rigged 600x, and a Lucky Draw at 250x gambles between the two. After a strong round, the game may also offer an Extra Spin, keeping your multipliers and frames for a one-off price, offered only when it lands under what you have just won.

How to Play

How the Ways Add Up

The grid keeps Seamen’s stepped 3-5-5-3 shape, 4 reels that pay 225 ways before anything stretches them. Wins pay by matching symbols on neighbouring reels, counted from reel 1, and because xWays and Banana Wilds each multiply the symbols in play, the ways figure top right of the reels rarely sits still for long once a feature gets going. All of it rides on the position multipliers, which is why the paytable looks so gentle on its own.

Demo Paytable

The banana Wild pays 0.40 your bet for 4 and 0.20 for 3, and doubles as the symbol every expanded Banana becomes. The red eel matches it at the top of the picture set, the pin-up and the tiki mask sit a rung below, and the blowfish and the palm round out the group. The 5 low ranks underneath all pay a flat 0.05 whether 3 or 4 of them land, so the low end is one value, not a ladder.

Symbol 4 of a kind (€) 3 of a kind (€)
Wild (Banana) 0.40 0.20
Red Eel 0.40 0.20
Pin-Up 0.25 0.15
Tiki Mask 0.25 0.15
Blowfish 0.15 0.10
Palm 0.15 0.10
A / K / Q / J / 10 0.05 0.05

Figures are shown for a €1.00 spin in free play, before any multiplier applies.

The stake ladder climbs from €0.20 to €14.00 a spin, with Side Hustles and boosters adding to that total when you use them. The return is 96.04% on the default build, with 94.01% and 92.04% versions an operator can choose, and the volatility is about as high as Nolimit City goes. The top end is the 30,000x King Dong, paid the instant a round’s total reaches it, at which point the round simply ends.

Ultimate Slots Verdict

Soaked by Seamen is the fuller game the original pointed at. The Side Hustle lets you bet on a named outcome, the Lucky Lighter and the extra Fire Frames stack the position multipliers quicker, and King Dong pushes the ceiling higher still. It earns the step up from Seamen's 4.0 to a 4.2. There are a few small step back hiding among the additions, including the 3 bombs that gave the first game's dead spins their variety being cut down to 2.

4.2/5 Excellent

Detailed Review

What the Sequel Gets Right

The Side Hustle is the real idea here, and a strong one. For once, standard play has something of its own to go for, a bet on a frame count or a Banana expanding that can pay whether or not the reels line up. The Lucky Lighter and the expanding Banana Wilds give the position multipliers two more ways to grow, and the King Dong cap sits half as high again as Seamen’s top. Under all of it the carryover setup is as watchable as ever, every respin nudging the numbers up before a bonus even starts.

Where It Asks More

Most of what is new asks you to pay for it. The Side Hustle adds to your stake, and the boosters and buys pile on more again. The Lucky Draw is the clearest case of cost creeping ahead of value. At 250x it hands you a 70% shot at a round you can purchase outright for 100x and a 30% shot at one that costs 600x, so more often than not you pay over the odds for the cheaper outcome. Spins also settle very quickly even with turbo off, which may suit the pace but leaves you little time to read a grid before it resets.

What a Year Added

Play the two back to back, and the shape is identical. The stepped grid, the Fire Frames feeding the free spins, the skull Bonus symbols and the premium Coconut round as the target are all carried straight across. What has changed sits around the edges. The new pieces decorate the old loop instead of rebuilding it, and the result runs a shade more generous at the top than the game it grew from.

Super Rigged Spins round with position multipliers up to 11x across the reels Deep into a Super Rigged round, single spots carrying 8x and 9x as the total pushes past €150.

Our own review sessions bore that out. A 5-frame Side Hustle came good while a Banana column climbed a base round to €18.25, and a bought Rigged round came back at €83.10 against its 100 buy. The louder night came from a Super Rigged round bought for 600, which crept from €2.10 with 3 spins left to €202.75 by the end, then took an €80 Extra Spin all the way to €975.75. Even the win screens play along, climbing through names like Stiff Breeze, Beating the Bush, Flexing Pecs and Soaked & Choked as the total swells. One more spin doubled the round, and could just as easily have added nothing.

Soaked and Choked win screen showing a €975.75 total at the end of a bought round.

We never did land King Dong. The Moby-Dick cap we rode on Seamen is still our high-water mark, and its bigger successor here stayed a number we only ever saw printed. Reaching it is roughly a 1 in 93 million shot, the deal a Very High volatility game makes.

Who the Island Suits

Soaked by Seamen is aimed squarely at the player who already liked Seamen and wants a little more of it, someone happy to feed the Side Hustle and buy into the rounds where the game keeps its money. Come to it cold, and the flat €0.05 low pays and the row of paid shortcuts are what you meet before the multiplier stack shows its hand, so the original is still the cheaper way to learn in free play whether this engine is for you. Once you know the engine suits you, the sequel is the fuller game to come back to.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. The Side Hustle and the boosters are separate ways to spend on a spin, and the game will not let you run one on top of the other. You pick a side bet or you buy a booster, not both together.
It is the one side bet that pays on a losing spin. Back the Dead Spin card, and if a spin ends with nothing at all, it returns its set amount, turning a blank result into a small paid one.
It shows up marked 1, 2 or 3 and respins that many times before it bursts. Once it does, it fills its entire reel with Banana Wilds, each acting as a wild for that spin.
Only after a round that produced a ways win, and only when one more spin comes in at or below what you have already won. Take it, and the spin keeps all the multipliers and frames from the round before, which is what makes it worth weighing.
