Fluffy Favourites Megaways Basics
Six reels, up to 117,649 ways, and a best way on the paytable worth 50x for six hippos. Those are the numbers the Fluffy Favourites Megaways demo opens with, and they belong to the first game in the family to walk away from the 2006 machine.
The 25 fixed paylines are gone, and so are the 15, 20, or 25 free games and the retrigger cap of 15 that Fluffy Favourites, Fluffy Too, and Fluffy Favourites Fairground all share word for word. What replaces them is a cascade with a win multiplier that climbs every time symbols explode, a Claw wild restricted to one row, and a maximum shown on the game’s own title card that the paytable gives no route to. Demo Gameplay Options
The Carousel Row
The Carousel is a 4-position row above reels 2, 3, 4, and 5, the same span the top reel covers on Bonanza Megaways. Each position adds a symbol to the reel beneath it, and the rules count those symbols as part of that reel when way wins are worked out, which is why one Carousel toy can move the ways counter by several hundred. Cascades treat the row differently from the reels below. A Carousel symbol caught in a win explodes like any other, and its replacement arrives from the right instead of dropping from above. Two symbols never share the row. The Claw appears there and nowhere else on the board, and the Elephant scatter is barred from it entirely.
Cascades and the Climbing Multiplier
Every symbol involved in a way win explodes and disappears, replacements drop in from above on the reels and in from the right on the Carousel, and the chain repeats until a drop produces no further win. The win multiplier is tied to that chain. It starts at x1 on each paid spin, steps up after every cascade, and applies to way wins only, so a scatter pay collected on the same drop takes no part in it. Outside the feature, the counter resets with the next paid spin, which imposes a hard limit on what a single chain can build. The demo’s frames show the ways counter moving between 576 and 3,600, and the multiplier banner reaching x2 partway through a chain.
Claw Wild Multipliers
The Claw covers every symbol on the reels bar the scattered Elephant, and because it occupies the Carousel alone, it can only ever complete a way from the row above. When it does, it descends into the grid, picks up a random Wild Multiplier valued from 1 to 5, and returns to its position. That value applies to the total win for the way combination it helped build, not to anything else on screen. Bring a second Claw into the same win, and the values multiply together rather than adding, which is where the design finds its reach. The range is identical in standard play and in the feature, so a Claw is worth the same either side of a trigger.
The Free Games Bonus Feature
3 or more scattered Elephants, counted once cascades have stopped, open the Free Games Bonus Feature at 9 free games, and every Elephant beyond the third adds 3 more. Retriggers follow the same shape. Any Elephant showing when cascades stop during a free game is worth 2 extra games, and the wager stays exactly as it was when the feature opened. Matching symbols pay from the leftmost reel across adjacent reels in any position, the Elephant excepted, and the game pays only the highest win on each way before adding separate ways together. 8 of the 10 toys need three matching symbols; the hippo and the dragon pay from two, as does the Elephant.
The Rest of the Fluffy Family
Fluffy Favourites arrived in 2006 and the family stayed on its engine for 15 years, through Fluffy Too, Fluffy Favourites Fairground, and the 2022 art refresh of the original, Fluffy Favourites Remastered, which leaves the 25 lines and the 200x top line untouched. This is the entry that broke the pattern, and the two post-2020 releases make the contrast plain. The remaster changed the art; the Megaways version changed the maths. Fluffy in Space had already shown Eyecon would rebuild the toy box around a different feature, but the reels stayed at five.

A fairground stall with the plush toys strung under a lit awning, a big wheel turning behind it, and bunting across the sky, is the whole of the presentation, and it makes this the friendliest-looking Megaways slot Eyecon has put its name to.
The argument for the game is the Carousel and the multiplier that feeds off it. Cascades were common currency by 2021. Less common is a wild confined to a 4-position row that has to descend to collect its own 1x to 5x value, and a free-games multiplier that never resets. Those two rules are where a 94.995% return with a 50x best way finds any distance at all between the paytable and the figure on the title card.
Medium Volatility
The case against is just as clear. Medium is Eyecon’s own rating, and nothing in the paytable argues with it, so the demo hands out small way wins at a steady rate and asks the feature to do the heavy work. 9 free games is a short round in which to build a multiplier, and the Elephant stops paying scatter wins the moment it has triggered one, so the feature costs you the symbol that pays from anywhere.
