The Crypt reached 46,656 ways in 2023 and stopped at 27,000x. The Crypt 2 keeps the six reels, adds a seventh row, and chains the top three shut. Open every locked position, and the count runs from 4,096 ways to 531,441, under a 31,248x cap on this graveyard slot. Six of the best Dead Legend still returns 2.5x, exactly as it did in 2023.
Three of the seven rows begin chained. A Forsaken Fingers symbol unlocks the nearest locked position on its own reel and on each adjacent reel, then converts into a Wild, so one landing opens space across three columns and still pays.
Winning symbols explode, and new ones fall in behind them, so a single spin can pay several times before it settles, though locked positions never drop. xWays is a mystery symbol that holds 2 or 3 of the same symbol, and it can stretch its reel up to 9 high. Where several land, one symbol is drawn for the lot.
An xNudge Wild lands high and steps down to the bottom row, growing into a full stacked Wild as it travels. Every step adds 1 to its multiplier, and two of them on a spin add together. That multiplier counts only on wins the Wild itself helps make.
The second multiplier belongs to the whole win. Five of the six Dead Legends carry 2 eyes, and the lowest payer carries 1. An Eye Collector takes every eye in the active area, adds 1 to the total win multiplier for each 5 it gathers, then turns Wild. The Spider needs a Collector on the reels, then throws in 4, 8, or 12 more.
Three Scatters trigger Entombed Spins, and the Scatters set the length, 2 spins for a purple Moon and 3 for a Red Moon, with any Moon able to upgrade to red first. Each level has a Dead Legend that requires 4 gems to advance; each advance doubles that Legend’s eyes and adds 2 spins.
Against the 2023 game, the additions are the locked rows, the Forsaken Fingers that open them, and the eye economy over an xNudge multiplier already there. The Crypt ran 6 reels by 4 rows rising to 6 and capped at 27,000x on 96.05%. This sequel returns 96.10%, multiplies the ways by eleven, and lifts the cap by less than a sixth.

A spin begins with four of the seven rows active, and four rows across six reels is 4,096 ways. Every position a Forsaken Fingers unlocks feeds that total, which grows by multiplication rather than addition, so the rows opened late count for much more than the first ones. Nine symbols on every reel, xWays stretches included, reads 531,441. Until a Forsaken Fingers reaches them, those top positions hold their symbols and take no part in a win. A win needs the same symbol on adjacent reels beginning at reel 1, and no way pays twice.
The Nolimit Booster panel holds two per-spin activations rather than a bonus bought outright. For 2x the stake, Bonus Booster triples the odds of Entombed Spins. Booster Forsaken Fingers costs 20x and guarantees at least three Forsaken Fingers on the spin it is charged for, which is the direct route into the locked rows. Neither changes what a symbol pays, and both are charged again on every spin they stay switched on. Free play makes the 20x option cheap to test across a long run, and other Nolimit City releases price their boosters on the same per-spin logic.
The bet grid spans €0.20 to €100. The RTP is 96.10%, and Nolimit City divides that figure 61.72% to the main game and 34.37% to the bonus, so better than a third of it waits behind a three-Scatter trigger. In Memoriam is the rule that closes a round. Once a round’s total win passes 31,248x, play stops and 31,248x is what it pays, whether the number was built from ways, nudges, or collected eyes.

Twelve symbols pay and every one of them needs at least three on adjacent reels, so nothing on this table pays from two. The six Dead Legends run from 2.5x down to 1x for six, the card ranks from 0.75x down to 0.5x, and the whole table appears between 2.5x and 0.1x. Six of a kind is the top tier, which a six-reel board can reach without help, and the tiers below it move in increments small enough to make cascades matter more than any single hit.

The Wild, the two Moons, xWays, Forsaken Fingers, the Eye Collector, and the Spider hold no row here, because each of them unlocks, collects, or converts instead of paying.
The sequel adds rows, ways, and a second multiplier that survives the round, on a pay table it left exactly where it found it. The Crypt 2 argues its 31,248x cap through structure rather than symbol values, and it mostly wins the argument.
The idle board states the problem plainly. Four rows of symbols are live, three more are chained in shadow above them, the counter reads 4,096 ways, and the multiplier panel beside the reels reads X1. Two of those readings are built to move. Most spins move neither, and the distance between what the screen shows and what the screen could show is the design.
Sequels from this studio usually arrive carrying a new x-mechanic. This one arrives carrying real estate. The original grew from four rows to six while you played; here, seven rows exist from the start and three are withheld, which turns unlocking from a side effect of the maths into a job one symbol is built to do. Forsaken Fingers do nothing else, and they earn their place by finishing as Wilds.
Two multipliers are how a 2.5x top symbol reaches 31,248x. The first is narrow and immediate, belonging to the xNudge Wild and counting only where that Wild is part of the win. The second is broad and cumulative, rising by 1 for every 5 eyes an Eye Collector sweeps up, and inside Entombed Spins it holds between spins while the level ladder doubles the eye supply. Advance a level or two, and the same board is feeding the counter at twice the rate.
The objection is short, and it’s a number. The top pay did not move between 2023 and 2026. The cap rose by less than a sixth while the ways rose by a factor of eleven, which shows where the studio put the value and where it left things alone. With better than a third of the return sitting inside Entombed Spins, the base game is a waiting room with very good art on the walls.
Nolimit City has made this move before. Mental 2 also raised the cap its original had set. The art deserves a line of its own. Six Dead Legends are painted like gig posters, chains run across the top of the frame, a purple moon triggers and a red one triggers harder, and it all fits the studio’s horror register without tipping into parody. Chains along the frame’s upper edge do the work the original art did in 2023, with more board to do it on.
Who it suits is easy to name. If a board that hides part of itself and a bonus round that improves while it runs sounds like your kind of maths, this review lands at 4.2 and the demo will show you why within a few dozen spins. In the demo the locked rows stop being an abstraction, because one Forsaken Fingers opening three columns tells you more than the ways figure does. If you want symbols that pay properly on their own, 2.5x for six is not going to change your mind.
