Fa Chai Apollo Demo

Apollo slot grid with two laurelled Scatters, gold-tiled bows, a 2X tag and a Double tag under the 1X 2X 3X bar
Two laurelled Scatters sit between gold-tiled bows on reels 2 and 4, with a 2X tag on the lower bow and a Double tag on the crown atop reel 4 under the unlit 1X, 2X and 3X bar

Apollo picks a multiplier on each spin, and that is the strongest thing Fa Chai built into this Greek myth slot. A bar of 1X, 2X, and 3X is mounted over the reels with one panel lit at random, and winning symbols that carry tags then add to it or, with a Double, double it. The paytable alone, topped by a 2.5x bow, would not carry the game.

White marble tiles hold the symbols between gold-capped columns, with sunlit orange clouds and ruins behind. The high symbols are gold props on coloured discs, a bow on red, a lyre on magenta, a laurel diadem on navy, and a goblet on green, above four faceted gems. The Scatter, a curly-haired young man in a laurel wreath, goes unnamed by the game.

Bonus Features in Free Play

Starting Multiplier Bar

Apollo multiplies every score by a bonus multiplier and awards one at random after each spin or cascading refill. In regular play, the starting values are 1X, 2X, and 3X, shown on three teal panels above the grid with the live one glowing cyan. When the spin ends, the bar drops back to the starting multiplier, and the next spin gets its own draw.

Tags and the Double

Some symbols land with a purple tag on their lower edge, either a number or the word Double. When a winning symbol carries a number tag, Apollo adds that number to the bonus multiplier already in play, which makes the bar’s draw the base every tag builds on.

A winning symbol marked Double skips the addition and doubles whatever the bonus multiplier has at that moment.

Gold Tiles to Wilds

Golden Symbols, ordinary symbols drawn on bright gold tiles, appear solely on reels 2, 3, and 4, and once eliminated each one becomes the temple Wild in the same spot. A winning cascade can therefore leave Wilds on the middle reels.

Eight Free Games

A run of 8 FREE GAME follows 3 or more Scatters, each Scatter on the reels is worth 2 more, and the count tops out at 50. The round keeps the same multiplier rules with a stronger draw, 2X, 4X, or 6X on a purple bar, so every tag and Double starts from a higher base. Skip the wait for 3 or more Scatters and 60x opens the FREE GAME outright, within the bet limit the buy panel shows. For scale, the top figure Fa Chai attaches to Apollo is 5,000x the bet.

How to Play

Cascade Sequence

A spin in Apollo is a chain of eliminations scored against a multiplier the game chooses itself. The grid is uneven, with four rows on reels 1 and 5 and five on the three reels between them, and the plaque under the bar reads 2000 WAYS. Symbols score when the same one lands on adjacent reels in a run that starts at the left edge. Each winning symbol is then eliminated, the gaps refill, and any new win scores again, all of it multiplied by the bonus multiplier.

The order matters. The game awards its random multiplier after each spin or cascading refill, tags on winning symbols change it as the chain runs, and the reset to the starting multiplier comes once the spin is over. Whatever the tags build, then, lasts for one spin and is gone by the next.

Two symbols are outside the pay table. The temple Wild replaces anything apart from the Scatter and has no row of its own, and the laurelled Scatter pays nothing directly either. Its job is opening the FREE GAME when 3 or more of them appear on the reels.

RTP

Fa Chai’s published return for Apollo is 96.5%, the RTP quoted for the game as a whole. The gold tiles are studio furniture rather than news, since Sugar Bang Bang Plus also confines its Golden Symbols to reels 2, 3, and 4. What separates the two is the random draw on Apollo’s bar.

Ways Payouts

The table lists each way of 3, 4, or 5 of one symbol, beginning on reel 1 and carrying on across neighbouring reels, with every payout given as a multiple of the total bet. Four Greek myth props head the table, bow and lyre first, and the four gems below them pair off at equal values, red with purple and blue with green. The bow is the only symbol that reaches 1x for four, and the chalice is the last row to pay above 0.5x for five.

Symbol 5 4 3
Bow and arrow 2.5x 1x 0.5x
Lyre 1.25x 0.5x 0.25x
Laurel crown 1x 0.4x 0.2x
Chalice 0.75x 0.3x 0.15x
Red gem 0.5x 0.2x 0.1x
Purple gem 0.5x 0.2x 0.1x
Blue gem 0.25x 0.1x 0.05x
Green gem 0.25x 0.1x 0.05x

Ultimate Slots Verdict

The random 1X, 2X, or 3X draw, with tags on winning symbols that add and a winning Double that doubles, is what makes Apollo worth spinning. The 2.5x top pay and the reset when each spin ends hold it back.

Detailed Review

Gameplay Breakdown

A Double tag on a winning symbol is the best moment Apollo has. Number tags add a fixed amount whatever the bar shows, but a Double scales with it, so the random draw counts for most when a Double lands in a win. A doubled 3X and a doubled 1X are very different spins, and that gap is what gives the bar its weight.

Strip the multipliers away and the table is small for 2,000 ways. Five bows pay 2.5x, the lyre 1.25x, and the blue and green gems 0.05x for three. Tags count when their symbol wins, and the bar returns to its starting value as each spin finishes, so no multiplier is banked for later. Even the laurel crown, third in the table, needs five on a way to reach 1x. On a spin that draws 1X with no tag in a win, Apollo pays straight off those figures, and they are modest for a grid this wide.

Apollo’s case gets stronger in the FREE GAME. Three or more Scatters open it, the draw moves up to 2X, 4X, or 6X, and every tag and Double then works from that higher base. Fa Chai offers one buy at 60x with no ladder of options to weigh, and a few bought rounds in the demo show how much the higher draw changes things. Measured against the 2.5x top pay, 60x is a large outlay, and the round has to lean on its 2X to 6X start and the tags to justify it.

Apollo is an August 2026 release from Fa Chai, and the bar is also a tease, a well-made one. A lit 3X over a grid that then pays nothing still feels like a near thing, and in this reviewer’s reading that feeling is part of the design. It is worth knowing going in, because the bar lights on spins that win and spins that don’t.

The limit is plain enough. With the multiplier reset after each spin and a 2.5x top pay, Apollo’s better spins outside the free round depend on tags landing in wins on a good draw. That keeps it a clever bar over a modest table, and the bar alone earns it some time in free play.
