Ze Zeus Overview
Ze Zeus uses Le Bandit’s cluster engine, same rules and same prices, and hands every part to a white-bearded god among marble columns. That leaves one real choice between the two slots, the setting you’d rather look at.
Hacksaw Gaming released the slot in June 2024, after Le Bandit’s August 2023 launch, under a bright blue sky and a gold logo split by lightning.
Le Bandit, Renamed
A win leaves its cells lit as Divine Squares; Le Bandit calls them Golden Squares. The Rainbow that opens them is now the Hand of Zeus, a blue lightning fist; the Four-Leaf Clover is the Zap of Zeus, and the Pot of Gold is the Vessel of Wealth. Le Bandit’s moustached raccoon on a 1920s Paris street gives way to Zeus in a pale chiton. The return, win cap, bet line, coin values, bonus spin counts, and buy prices all match, so the two demos teach the same rules in free play.

Divine Squares
Win To Win marks the cells behind every winning symbol as Divine Squares, and a Hand of Zeus opens them once the wins are paid. Each shows a Gold, Silver, or Bronze Coin, or sometimes a Zap of Zeus, which multiplies neighbouring Coins and Vessels, or a Vessel of Wealth, which collects every Coin and Vessel in view. The temple Wild replaces every paying symbol.
The Repeat
After the last Vessel fires, the other Divine Squares open again and reveal new symbols, and the sequence starts over. Then, the game adds every Coin and Vessel together and pays the total against the bet.

How to Play
Hearts Leave Together
Clusters pay from 5 touching symbols of one kind, and when a cluster of red hearts pays, Super Cascade clears every red heart off the grid, including hearts nowhere near the win. Replacements drop from above, and the clearing repeats while wins keep forming. A small cluster of low gems can empty a whole suit this way.
Bets and Return
The bet stays within a range of €0.10 to €100, and a feature bought from the menu can cost more than the top bet. The volatility bar lights three of its five bolts when the game loads, and we call it Medium. The RTP is 96.34%.

Compared with Le Bandit, Ze Zeus swaps the names, the cast, and the scenery and leaves the rules and prices alone. It's a well-drawn way into a strong engine, marked down only for adding nothing new.

Detailed Review
A Greek Coat of Paint
Hacksaw draws its mythology bright and clean, from sea-blue tiles and faceted card-suit gems to a gold-ringed Zeus portrait, the best-paying symbol.
Under the paint, this is a reskin, and the only decision is which of the two to load. The engine is strong either way. Here, the best cluster pays 100x, while Gold Coins reach 500x, so the reveals decide how far a round can go. Super Cascade strips a whole symbol type from the grid after each win, and one Hand of Zeus can open a lit grid, fire its Vessels, and then open the leftover squares again, so a single activator turns into a chain of reveals. Take the Wheel keeps its squares lit until the bonus is over, letting that chain run again and again. Might Superstar keeps that rule, adds a guaranteed Hand of Zeus on every spin, and drops Bronze Coins. Only 5 scatters open it. In regular play, lit squares pay nothing extra unless a Hand of Zeus is on the grid when the wins finish, and that is the engine’s weak side.
Pick by backdrop, then. Players who know Le Bandit find nothing new here beyond the names. Anyone who hasn’t met Le Bandit gives up nothing by starting with Zeus, whose art is crisp and bright, and the main complaint is that the game adds no rule of its own.
