Hot Chili Heat: Spicy Hot Pots Demo by Octoplay
Spelt with one l fewer than Pragmatic Play’s Chilli Heat, Octoplay’s Hot Chili Heat: Spicy Hot Pots is a separate game, and its bonus starts with colour. Any green, red, or purple Flaming Chili may trigger Hold & Win with its matching pot switched on, and each pot changes the round in its own way. The five jackpots come at the very end, from Pepper picks you earn by filling reels with locked symbols in Hold & Win.
The scene is a Mexican street at night in purple and pink light, with papel picado bunting overhead and a cream cat with a curled black moustache asleep on a blue shelf. The top symbols are Mexican street food and drink, with margaritas in salted glasses, a round TEQUILA bottle, a hard-shell taco, a burrito beside a bowl of guacamole, and quesadilla wedges with a white dip. The Wild shows a smiling man under a huge yellow sombrero, holding a flaming red-orange chili on a silver plate.
Slot Bonus Features
Flaming Chilis

Flaming Chilis are the money symbols, and each shows 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 7x, or 10x the stake. In the Normal Game, up to 10 of the same kind and a maximum of 12 of any kind can land per spin. During Hold & Win, the limit drops to 3 of each kind per spin.
Each one that lands tosses a chili at its pot and has a chance to trigger Hold & Win. However hard a pot boils, the bubbling is decoration and has no influence on that chance.
Three Pots, Three Rules
Hold & Win starts with 3 free spins, and the reels hold Flaming Chilis, Empty symbols, and Hot Sauce when it’s activated. Each symbol that lands, apart from an Empty, locks in place and resets the counter to its current maximum. The pots that switch on with the trigger each add one rule.
| Pot | Name | Hold & Win effect |
|---|---|---|
| Green | Spicy Kickstart | Raises the maximum number of free spins to 4 |
| Red | Extra Hot | Hot Sauce symbols can land, one per spin at most, worth 2x, 3x, or 5x, and each adds its value to every locked Flaming Chili and Hot Sauce symbol |
| Purple | Second Fiesta | When the counter reaches 0, it resets to its current maximum, once only |
Red is the pot we’d most like to see, because a single sauce lifts every locked symbol on the board at once. When no free spins are left, the remaining Flaming Chilis are collected, and the Prize Pot above the scene pays out.
Super Hold & Win
The round can also arrive upgraded. Super Hold & Win can trigger at random at the start of Hold & Win, follows the same rules, and multiplies the accumulated Prize Pot by x2 before prize collection.
Pick a Pepper
This is where the jackpots are. During Hold & Win, a Pepper Counter is shown above each reel. Fill a reel with locked symbols, and those symbols go into the Prize Pot while that reel’s counter goes up by 1, with no reel going past 4. Once Hold & Win ends, the counters turn into picks, capped at 20.
Each picked Pepper awards a prize from 1x to 10x or one of five jackpots, the Mini at 15x, the Minor at 30x, the Major at 100x, the Macho at 500x, and the Magnifico at 5000x. If a jackpot Pepper is picked, that jackpot is awarded, and the game adds the total from the picks to the Hold & Win prize. The jackpot ladder above the reels is reached through picks rather than symbols.
Three pots and a pick stage make this a busy Hold & Win, but a 92.75% RTP and a ways table that stops at 5x keep the game at 3.4/5.
How to Play
Ways and the Sombrero Wild
The 243 on the wooden posts either side of the reels is the number of ways. Matching symbols have to land on consecutive reels, counted left to right from the leftmost one, and the table starts at three reels. For each symbol, only its highest winning combination is paid.
The Wild covers the whole reel and substitutes for all other symbols except Flaming Chilis, and up to 4 Wilds can land in the Normal Game. The table gives it no pay of its own, so you’ll see it as the link that completes a food or card win.
Demo RTP
You can bet as little as €0.10 or as much as €150 on a spin, though in this demo every stake is free play. The RTP is 92.75%. Octoplay’s 3 Blazing Chilis: Hold & Win, from April 2026, put chili-colour effects on a 5-payline 5×3 with four jackpots up to a 2500x Grand and a 95.78% RTP; this game moves to 243 ways, adds a pick stage, and lifts its top jackpot to 5000x.
The Buy Feature window lists Hold & Win to buy outright plus two Extra Chance modes, Hold & Win 2x Chance and Hold & Win 5x Chance. Turning either one on changes the chance of winning the feature and makes each spin cost more, with the extra amount displayed in the Extra Chance window.
Hot Chili Heat: Spicy Hot Pots Payouts

Each figure is x the total bet, and Flaming Chilis, Hot Sauce, and the Wild are left off the table.
