Das xBoot Overview
Nolimit City built Das xBoot into the shape of a hull. Two positions on reel 1, three on reel 2, four each on reels 3 and 4, then three and two on the way out. At rest, that gives 576 ways, and the middle of the boat is where it changes. xWays opens up reels 2 and 5, xNudge Wilds force their way into reels 3 and 4, and the counter above the gauges can climb to 75,712. In Silent Hunter Spins, one reel grows to eight rows on its own.
Das xBoot Demo Features
The Hull and xWays
xWays lands on reels 2 and 5 only, and each one reveals a regular symbol two or three times over. When two or three xWays arrive together, they share a single face, so a spin catching both outer reels turns two narrow columns into stacks of one crew member.
xNudge Wilds
The xNudge Wild stands four rows high, and only reels 3 and 4 are that deep, so it tends to land part way on and nudge until all of it shows. Every nudge raises its own multiplier by 1. Within Silent Hunter Spins, it is restricted to reel 4. Where several Wilds land together, their multipliers are added before the win is worked out.
The xBomb Multiplier
An xBomb counts as a Wild and then clears the board around it. Anything outside a win is blown away apart from the radar Bonus and the other Wilds, survivors drop, and new symbols collapse in behind them. Each bomb lifts the win multiplier by 1, and a multiplier collected on a triggering spin travels into whichever bonus mode follows.
Silent Hunter Spins
Three radar Bonus symbols award eight Silent Hunter Spins, and reel 3 stretches to eight positions for the round. A Periscope Wild can land there. Connect symbols on reels 1 and 2 with it, and a torpedo launch starts, hit chance showing in the periscope. A hit stretches the Wild to the reel’s highest position and nudges it all the way down, paying a multiplier for every step and leaving a sticky +1 behind that lasts as long as the bonus does. A miss leaves it behaving as one ordinary Wild. Every xBomb is another sticky +1.
Wolf Pack Spins
A fourth Bonus symbol opens Wolf Pack Spins instead, again eight spins, with a torpedo tube running under reels 2 to 5. Torpedo Wilds feed parts into the tube one at a time, though the first part on a reel counts double. Fill it, and the launch reveals xWays sized by the parts collected, a regular symbol on reels 2 and 5, a Wild on reels 3 and 4, up to nine symbols tall. Every launch is another sticky +1, and each extra Bonus symbol adds two spins to whichever mode is running.
Das xBoot 2wei
Nolimit City went back to the submarine in December 2025 with Das xBoot 2wei, which lifts the cap to 59,999x. The 2021 original is the leaner of the two, and the one that worked out the torpedo sequences.
How to Play
From 576 Ways to 75,712

Das xBoot starts every spin at 576 ways, and the brass counter above the reels moves the moment a column gets deeper. Matching symbols pay from the first reel across neighbouring reels, and every extra position a reel gains multiplies how many ways run through the whole board. A win takes the symbol’s value once for each way it completes, and the best win on any given way is the one that counts. xWays does that job on reels 2 and 5, revealing two or three of one symbol at a time. The bonus modes do it structurally, with reel 3 at eight rows in Silent Hunter Spins and a 2-4-5-5-4-2 shape in Wolf Pack Spins. Stack both kinds of change, and the counter tops out at 75,712 ways. A single xWays on reel 2 is enough to move it, so the number in the gauge is worth a glance on every spin rather than only when a bonus is running. On a phone or tablet, the spin button is a thumb-sized target on the right, with the coin stack for bet values and the menu running down the left edge.
RTP and Bet Values
The return is 96.03%, and how it splits matters more than the headline figure. 59.74% of it comes from the main game and 36.29% from Silent Hunter and Wolf Pack Spins, so better than a third of everything the game gives back is behind the radar symbol. A spin costs anything from €0.25 to €100, with the values stepping up in small increments rather than doubling. Among the site’s war-themed slots, this is one of the bleaker settings, and a demo round costs nothing to sit through while the counter moves.
Game Paytable

The table is bottom heavy, and the gap between the captain and the rest of the crew is the shape worth reading. Six captains pay 20x, the red officer takes 10x for the same run, and from there, the purple officer, the radioman, and the sailor land between 4.80x and 3.20x. The five card ranks are in a narrow band underneath, close enough together that they behave as one tier. Every symbol carries a row for six of a kind, because the middle reels are four deep and a win can run the full width of the boat.
| Symbol | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Captain (yellow) | 0.88x | 3x | 6x | 20x |
| Officer (red) | 0.4x | 0.6x | 3.2x | 10x |
| Officer (purple) | 0.32x | 0.52x | 1.6x | 4.8x |
| Radioman (green) | 0.28x | 0.48x | 1.2x | 4x |
| Sailor (blue) | 0.28x | 0.4x | 0.88x | 3.2x |
| A | 0.24x | 0.36x | 0.8x | 2.8x |
| K | 0.24x | 0.36x | 0.72x | 2.8x |
| Q | 0.2x | 0.32x | 0.68x | 2x |
| J | 0.2x | 0.28x | 0.6x | 2x |
| 10 | 0.2x | 0.24x | 0.52x | 1.4x |
The four kinds of Wild and the radar Bonus have no rows of their own. Wilds fill any gap except a Bonus position, and the Bonus only ever buys spins.
Ultimate Slots Verdict
Das xBoot is a six-reel hull that opens at 576 ways and reaches 75,712, with two bonus modes that rebuild the board rather than just adding spins. The paytable is small and there is no booster to speed the trigger up, but the stacking multipliers in Silent Hunter and Wolf Pack Spins carry the game.
✓ What We Like
- The 2-3-4-4-3-2 hull does real work, holding 576 ways at rest and opening to 75,712
- Silent Hunter Spins rebuild reel 3 into eight positions instead of handing out extra spins
- Wolf Pack Spins turn a filled torpedo tube into xWays up to nine symbols tall
- Sticky +1 multipliers from torpedoes and xBombs add together across a whole bonus round
- xWays and xNudge are on separate reels, so you can read which column is about to change
✗ What Could Be Better
- No xBet or booster of any kind, so the wait for three radar symbols is what it is
- The captain's 20x for six is the only picture pay with any weight behind it
- Both bonus modes need the radar symbol, and there is no second route into either
Detailed Review
Das xBoot Play Review
Twenty times the bet for a full row of the captain is the figure to hold onto. On a September 2021 Nolimit City release, that reads thin, and it is thin, until you count what is between that row and the reels carrying it. Almost nothing here pays much on its own. What pays is how many ways the board can hold at once, and how many sticky +1s have piled up by the time it does.
That is why the hull shape reads as design rather than decoration. The narrow outer reels keep the resting count low, the four-deep middle pair gives the xNudge Wild somewhere to land part way and multiply on its way in, and both bonus modes rebuild the board instead of simply handing over spins. Silent Hunter Spins turn one reel into a column of eight and drop a Wild into it that can nudge from roof to floor for a multiplier a step. Wolf Pack Spins spread the same idea across four reels and pay for patience while the tube fills.
There is a real case against it. No xBet, no booster, nothing to shorten the wait for three radar symbols, and free play makes that stretch obvious within a few minutes. The sequel handles its multipliers with a heavier hand, and this one leans on the torpedo sequences to carry everything. Set against the rest of the catalogue on the Nolimit City hub, it is an early and disciplined version of an idea the studio kept refining.
