AvatarUX
AvatarUX made its name with PopWins, a mechanic where winning symbols pop and split into more symbols, so the reels grow and the number of ways climbs with every win. The studio released its first game on the Yggdrasil network in 2019, introduced PopWins with CherryPop in 2020, and won the 2023 CasinoBeats Game Developer Award for Game Mechanic of the Year. Its games are all here to try as free demos.
PopWins in Practice
Shippy D Pop shows the mechanic at full stretch, with up to 118,098 ways and a 50,000x cap. Worms of Valor grows a 5×6 grid towards 59,049 ways, and Piggy Pop Grand Affair 2 builds from a 243-ways start. Spinfection takes the same idea to a 7×7 cluster grid, where each popped cell leaves a multiplier behind that climbs if it feeds another win.
Small Grids, Big Caps
Not every AvatarUX game grows. 3 Power Bears and Blondes & Beers play on just nine positions and 5 lines, yet both cap at 15,000x. In Blondes & Beers the weight falls on multipliers, with a wild beer glass opening a tap above the reels that can pour as much as x1,000 onto a line. The maths stays tight across the catalogue. RTPs sit close to 96%, volatility runs from High to Very High, and most games cap at 10,000x or more.
