Most slots begin when you press spin. Jin Ji Bao Xi Endless Treasure begins one step earlier, when you decide how many gold symbols to put on the reels. That single choice before every spin determines which feature values are within reach, how many gold symbols populate the Free Games, and how high the Fu Value — the multiplier attached to every Bonus symbol can climb. Everything downstream flows from it!
Before each spin, the player selects how many gold symbol types to play: 1 through 5. Playing more types increases the number of high-value symbols on the reels and expands the range of Fu Values available that spin. With 1 gold symbol played, only the lowest Fu Value (8x bet) is possible. With all 5 active, values of 8x, 18x, 38x, 68x, 88x, and the top-tier 888x all become eligible. The chosen Fu Value is then randomly selected from that eligible range and applied to every Bonus symbol on the reels for that spin, shown as a cash figure.
The five gold symbol types are Fish, Turtle, Tiger, Phoenix, and Dragon, each progressively more valuable. Playing more gold symbols means all selected types appear on the reels alongside the standard card rank symbols and the Bat Wild.
Landing 6 or more Bonus symbols in a standard spin triggers the Feature Selector. The Fu Bonus — the total cash value displayed across all Bonus symbols that spin, is carried forward into whichever option is chosen.
Options 1 through 5 are Free Games options, each adding a different gold symbol type and quantity to the reels. The number of gold symbols available in each option is determined by how many gold types were played on the triggering spin. Option 6 is the Top Up Feature. If 15 Bonus symbols land, the Fortune Grand jackpot is awarded first, the Feature Selector then activates, and the Top Up Feature is not offered as a choice in that instance.
Each Free Games option loads a specific gold symbol type onto the reels in a set quantity. Option 1 always carries the most symbols but uses the lowest active gold type. Option 5 uses the fewest symbols of the highest active type. The table below shows total gold symbols on the reels per option when all 5 gold types are in play.

Playing fewer gold symbols shrinks both the option count and the symbol quantities. Playing 1 gold symbol gives only Option 1 with 88 Fish on the reels. Each additional gold type adds an option and raises the top quantity by 10 symbols.
Selecting a Free Games option from the Feature Selector awards 6 Free Games. The Fu Bonus from the triggering spin is stored on the Shou Bonus Meter at the start of the round. During Free Games, the Yellow Coin appears on reels 2, 3, and 4 in place of the Wild, substituting for all symbols. Each Yellow Coin that lands awards a value equal to the Fu Bonus that triggered the Feature Selector, and that amount is added to the Shou Bonus Meter. At the end of the Free Games, the full Shou Bonus Meter total is awarded.
Landing 3 or more Yellow Coins on a single Free Games spin adds 3 more games to the remaining count. The bet level and gold symbol selection remain the same as on the spin that triggered the feature. The Fu Bonus value used by Yellow Coins on retriggered spins is the one active at the point the retrigger itself fires, not necessarily the value from the original Feature Selector trigger.
The Top Up Feature runs differently from Free Games. All Bonus symbols from the triggering spin remain locked on the reels and continue contributing to wins each spin. Yellow Coins and Green Coins that land are held for the remaining spins. A +1 SPIN symbol can appear and adds one spin without being held, and stops appearing after spin 12.
Yellow Coins award the Fu Bonus value from the triggering spin. Green Coins award the total value of all Bonus symbols, Yellow Coins, and Green Coins currently visible on that spin, so a Green Coin landing after a Yellow Coin on the same spin collects the Yellow Coin’s contribution in its total. When both land simultaneously, Yellow resolves first. Multiple Green Coins resolve one by one in sequence, each collecting the updated running total as they go.
Accumulating any combination of 15 Bonus symbols, Yellow Coins, and Green Coins across the feature wins the Fortune Grand jackpot and ends the Top Up Feature immediately. If that threshold is not reached, the feature ends when no spins remain, and the total value across all Bonus, Yellow Coin, and Green Coin positions is paid as the Top Up Bonus. Way pays are not active during the Top Up Feature.
Fortune Grand has three routes. Landing 15 Bonus symbols in a standard game spin triggers it, as does accumulating any 15 Bonus/Yellow Coin/Green Coin symbols during the Top Up Feature, or revealing 3 matching Grand symbols in the Jin Ji Bao Xi Feature.
The overall game cap sits at 250,000 as a fixed cash amount. The in-game rules note that not every gold symbol configuration can reach that ceiling from a single session, so the practical upper end varies with setup.
The game includes a translation screen worth a look for context. Jin Ji Bao Xi itself translates as “Hail Gold and Luck.” The 福 character appearing on Bonus symbols, the Wild, and elsewhere means “Good Fortune.” The Yellow Coin carries 金吉报喜, also meaning “Hail Gold and Luck,” while both Yellow and Green Coins display 寿, meaning “Long Life.” The phrase 招财进宝, appearing across the game’s imagery, translates as “To Bring in Wealth and Treasure.”

Jin Ji Bao Xi Endless Treasure is a Reel Ways game across 5 reels and 3 rows, 243 ways in total. Wins pay from the far-left reel using one symbol per adjacent reel, with only the highest win paid per combination. Wins across different combinations are added. This pay structure does not apply inside the Top Up Feature, where it is suspended entirely.
The standard symbol paytable is fixed regardless of how many gold symbols are played. Values below are shown as multipliers of the bet multiplier and scale with stake.

Gold symbol values vary depending on which types are in play and are shown in the in-game paytable before each spin. The top gold symbol (Dragon, gold version) pays 250x for 5 of a kind when all 5 gold types are active. The Wild (Bat) substitutes for all symbols except Bonus and lands on reels 2, 3, and 4 only during standard play.
When the Wild lands on reel 3 specifically, it has a random chance of upgrading to a Gold Wild. If the Gold Wild substitutes for Turtle, Tiger, Phoenix, or Dragon, it pays as though those symbols were their gold variants rather than standard versions. If the Gold Wild contributes to any win at all, the pay for that winning combination is doubled. The two effects can combine. A Gold Wild substituting for a gold-eligible symbol on reel 3 pays at gold symbol rates and doubles the combination’s payout.
Each time the Wild appears anywhere on the reels, coins are added to the Coin Pot displayed above the grid. The pot’s coin count has no bearing on when the feature triggers. The pot lid closing is a separate random event that can occur on any spin in which coins are added. When the lid closes, the Jin Ji Bao Xi Feature activates.
The feature presents 12 coins for the player to select. Each reveals one of four jackpot symbols: Grand, Major, Minor, or Mini. Collecting 3 matching symbols awards the corresponding jackpot and ends the feature. The outcome is pre-determined before any coins are tapped, and the order of selection does not influence which jackpot is won.
The four jackpots have full names elsewhere in the game rules. They are Fortune Grand, Treasure Major, Peach Minor, and Orange Mini. All four pay fixed cash amounts rather than bet-multiplied values, so they sit outside the standard scaling that applies to regular symbol wins. The cash amount awarded does not change with stake.
