About Game

All About the Bass Demo by Crazy Tooth Studio

All About the Bass joins a crowded corner of the demo library. The site has plenty of fishing demos, and many of them belong to the Big Bass series, a format in which cash values ride on fish that land on the reels and a fisherman collects them in free spins. This 21-line slot moves the catch. Its fish swim in a stream below the reels with their prizes in view, and anglers reel them in during regular play instead of waiting for a bonus.

Big Bass Keeping it Reel shows the familiar order. Every fish that lands there carries a cash value that pays nothing in standard play, and only the fisherman wild that arrives with the free spins can collect it. All About the Bass reverses the order, with the prizes arriving first and each spin deciding whether an angler is in position to land one.

Slot Bonus Features

Boats Above, Fish Below

Two extra rows frame the 5×3 reels, and a catch needs both of them to line up with the same reel. Below the reels, a stream of fish called PrizeStream passes on every spin, each fish carrying a credit prize, a multiplier of up to 10x, a Collect All, or an Instant Bonus. Above the reels is a row of boat positions where anglers appear. When an angler’s boat is above a reel and a hook lands on that same reel, the angler drops the line and catches the fish beneath it, and the game pays whatever that fish carried. The stream then fills the gap. Two conditions on one reel is the cost of the design, since a fish under an empty boat position stays in the stream. The gain is information. Every prize is in view before an angler reaches it, the reverse of the on-reel format.

Collect All and Instant Bonus

Two special fish change what a catch does. Collect All pays the total of every other fish in the stream, turning the whole stream into one award, so the fish around it matter at the moment it’s caught. The Instant Bonus fish starts All About The Bonus without three trophy scatters, and with no bonus buy on the game, those are the two ways in.

All About The Bonus

The bonus opens with 5 spins on a board of credit values. Fish land carrying multipliers from 2x to 5x, activating credits and multiplying them, and five special symbols work on the board:

  • Retrigger adds bonus spins.
  • Credit Boost raises every active credit.
  • Row activates a whole row of positions.
  • Column activates a whole column.
  • Orthogonal activates the positions above, below, left, and right of it.

Five spins is only the starting count, so Retrigger symbols decide how long the board stays open.

Among the fishing slots on the site, All About the Bass makes the most useful change to the collect formula, because it brings the catch into regular play and shows each prize before it’s taken. Crazy Tooth kept the idea for the Froggy Style sequel, which stays on 5×3 and 21 lines and lists a 14,744x top against this 2024 original. If the stream travels beyond the studio’s own follow-up, other fishing games will have a working model to borrow.

How to Play

Reading the Stream

Read a spin of the All About the Bass free play demo in three layers, and the 5×3 reels are only the middle one. Start with the boat row, since a catch needs an angler above the reel as well as a hook on it. Next, look at what is swimming under the reels that do have anglers, because those are the fish within reach. A Collect All under an occupied boat position is the one to weigh against the rest of the stream, as it pays their total. The reels come last, where a hook has to land on a reel with a boat above it before any fish is taken.

Line Pays

Line wins come from 21 paylines across the 5×3 reels, paying left to right from the first reel. Few slots on the site pay on 21 lines, Brute Force among them, so the line count alone sets this slot apart from the 5×3 crowd. Multiplier wilds land at 2x and 3x, substitute for paying symbols but not the scatter, and double or triple any line win they join. The fish don’t form line wins themselves. They pay through a catch, so the reels and the stream work as two separate ways to win on the same spin.

Game RTP

All About the Bass returns 96.17% at its top setting. That is the RTP to set beside other fishing slots, since lower builds at 94.10% and 92.32% leave 3.85 points between the best and worst version.

Crazy Tooth grades it Medium-High, a less common band on the site than High or Medium. 9,009x is the highest result Crazy Tooth recorded in its own runs of the game, a measured best rather than a built-in limit. Paired with that grade, the figure points to results that hinge on the bigger catches.

Frequently Asked Questions

No catch. The angler drops the line only when a hook lands on the reel under that angler's boat, so the fish below stays in the stream.
It pays the total of every other fish in the stream. Its value depends on what else is swimming past when an angler lands it.
Yes. Catching one starts All About the Bass's bonus without the three trophy scatters, giving the game a second way in alongside them.
