About Game

Benji Killed in Vegas Demo by Nolimit City

Nine base bets a spin buy xBet Red in Benji Killed in Vegas. For that, each spin starts with two Overlay Multipliers, x2 and x3, already on the reels and the Enhancer row above them switched on. Extra Scatters become possible, and both free-spin modes get far likelier. Red also returns more than the plain bet. The cheaper xBet Blue, at 1.5x, guarantees a Scatter. Without either booster, this February 2023 slot is a 5×3 ways game whose five Enhancer cells stay dark until the dice wake them.

Slot Features

The xNudge Wild

The xNudge Wild is three rows tall and lands only on reels two to four. It always nudges into full view, and each step of the nudge adds +1 to its multiplier. At payout, the Wild’s multiplier multiplies with every other multiplier involved in the win, so it scales whatever the overlays have already done. Because it’s as tall as the board, it covers its whole reel once it has nudged. It fills in for anything on the board apart from the dice. Nolimit City used the same xNudge, xSplit and xBet trio in Tombstone R.I.P.

Five Cells Above the Reels

Above the board is a row of five Enhancer cells, drawn as boxing rings. They’re dark in regular play. The 2-Dice Respin, both Vegas$ modes, and xBet Red switch them on, and from then any cell can land an xMultiplier or an xSplit.

An xMultiplier is worth 2 to 9 and adds its value to any Overlay Multiplier on its reel. An xSplit cuts each Low symbol on its reel in half, to as many as 6 positions, and gives the Mid symbols there an immediate x2 that can reach x6 if they nudge. It also doubles the Overlay Multiplier value.

Overlay Multipliers are the dice after they transform. As a spin begins, they jump to new random positions, never two on one cell, though two can share a reel. The game adds together every overlay resting on a winning combination, and the total multiplies that win.

The 2-Dice Respin

The dice Scatters don’t pay. Two of them trigger the 2-Dice Respin, one more spin with the Enhancer row live, and the pair turns into Overlay Multipliers worth x2 and x3 for it. It’s the smallest of the three dice features and the only one that lasts one spin.

Vegas$ Spins

Three Scatters start 9 Vegas$ Spins. The Enhancers switch on, and the three dice become x2, x3, and x4 overlays whose values reset between spins. An extra Scatter during the round upgrades it to B.I.G. Vegas$ Spins and is worth another 2 spins, and the extra dice become x5 and x6 overlays that stay for the remaining spins. The Enhancer row stays live throughout, so xMultipliers can add to the overlays as the round goes on.

B.I.G. Vegas$ Spins

Four Scatters give 11 B.I.G. Vegas$ Spins, and five give 13. The dice become overlays from x2 to x6, and their values never reset. Because they move at the start of a spin but never lose value, a B.I.G. round builds on what it has already landed instead of starting over. Once a round’s total passes 10,000x, play stops and the payout is fixed at that figure. The rules name that limit after the game.

How to Play

The Dead Presidents Nudge

Benji Killed in Vegas board with skull-banknote G og on reels 1 and 3 and a dice Scatter on reel 2 under five dark Enhancer cells
G og fills reels 1 and 3 in his skull-banknote form, the reel 3 copy tagged 3x, with a dice Scatter on reel 2 and five dark Enhancer cells above.

Ben G, Ab, and G og are the only symbols that can start the Dead Presidents Nudge, and one of them has to land whole on reel 1, 2, or 3 to do it. When that happens, part-visible copies of that high symbol on other reels nudge into full view. Each nudge adds +1 to a multiplier shown on the symbol. The game adds those multipliers up, then applies the total to that symbol’s win.

Wins are counted in ways. A plain board makes 243, and xSplit, by halving Low symbols to as many as 6 on a reel, can lift the count to 7,776. A run of one symbol pays when it covers adjacent reels and opens on reel 1. The game pays the table value for each way the run forms.

Behind the reels, a Ferris wheel and a needle-topped tower light up the Las Vegas night, and a woman smokes on the steps of a graffiti-covered alley.

Booster Costs

The Nolimit Booster has two settings. xBet Blue costs 1.5x the base bet and guarantees one Scatter per spin, making both Vegas$ modes likelier. xBet Red costs 9x the base bet in total and brings the x2 and x3 overlays and a live Enhancer row, with extra Scatters possible and both modes far likelier. Both settings work in the demo, and both multiples are charged on the base bet you choose, which can be anything between €0.20 and €100. With either booster on, the game still pays wins on the base bet, and neither changes what the symbols pay. xBet Red is also the only way to run the Enhancer row without landing Scatters first.

With no booster, the RTP is 96.04%. xBet Blue lowers that to 96.02%, and xBet Red raises it to 96.10%, so paying more for Red also buys a slightly higher return.

Demo Paytable

Ben G pays 30x for five, but four of him pay 4x and three pay 2x, the steepest fall from five to four on the table. Ab and G og follow at 12.5x and 5x for five. The five low symbols are packed close together, from 1.5x for five gold grillz down to 0.7x for five knuckle-dusters.

Symbol 3 of a kind 4 of a kind 5 of a kind
Ben G 2x 4x 30x
Ab 1.5x 3x 12.5x
G og 1x 2x 5x
Gold grillz 0.5x 0.75x 1.5x
Boxing glove 0.45x 0.6x 1x
Casino chip 0.4x 0.5x 0.9x
Gold gun 0.25x 0.4x 0.8x
Knuckle-duster 0.15x 0.3x 0.7x

Neither the Wild nor the dice appear in the table, because the dice turn into multipliers instead of paying.

Ultimate Slots Verdict

Switched on, xBet Red turns this 5x3 into a multiplier game, with x2 and x3 overlays, a live Enhancer row and a slightly better return than the plain bet. It costs nine base bets a spin, and the cap is low for Nolimit City, but the dice design is sharp and the two nudges work well together.

Hits What we like

  • xBet Red puts x2 and x3 overlays and the Enhancer row in play for 9x, and returns more than the plain bet
  • Scatters turn into multipliers instead of paying, from x2 and x3 in the 2-Dice Respin to x2 through x6 that never reset in B.I.G. Vegas$ Spins
  • Ben G pays 30x for five, well clear of Ab's 12.5x

Misses What could be better

  • Its cap trails those of the studio's bigger releases
  • Without a booster, the board is a plain 243-way 5x3 until two dice wake the Enhancers
  • xBet Red, the booster that changes the game, costs nine base bets a spin

Detailed Review

xBet Red Explained

At 9x the base bet, xBet Red changes more of Benji Killed in Vegas than any other setting. With x2 and x3 overlays already down and the Enhancer row awake, a run of low symbols can come back multiplied, and xMultipliers and xSplits can land straight away. The rules give Red a slightly higher return than playing without it, while xBet Blue returns a little less than the plain bet.

For this review, that booster is the reason the game stands out. Without it, the board is a 243-way 5×3 with a Wild and a nudge feature, and the Enhancer cells do nothing until two dice land.

The two nudges stack well. The Dead Presidents multipliers apply to a high symbol’s win, and an xNudge Wild involved in that win multiplies its own multiplier with them before payout. On a board this small, that is the main way a plain spin grows. A G og landing whole on reel 1, with copies nudging in beside an xNudge Wild on reel 3, is the kind of board where both systems meet.

Ben G, Ab, and G og are hip-hop presidents with their names on banners and a skull-and-banknote form, and the low symbols are gold grillz, a boxing glove, a casino chip, a gold gun, and a knuckle-duster. When Nolimit City released the game in February 2023, head of product Per Lindheimer said it was about time the studio took on the classic Vegas theme, “kicking it up a notch, Nolimit Style”. The launch story follows Ben G’s crew from the streets to the studio and into a Vegas fight-night ring.

A Low-ish Win Cap

Against all that, the cap is low next to the studio’s bigger releases, and the booster that plays best costs nine bets at a time. xBet Blue’s lower return also makes the cheaper booster the harder one to justify. Overlay Multipliers also jump to new cells as a spin begins, so an x4 can settle next to a winning run instead of on it. The game then shows you exactly where it missed.

Played plain, it’s a solid ways slot with a sharp nudge feature. With xBet Red on, it’s a multiplier game from the start, and that’s the setting to try first in free play.

Frequently Asked Questions

xBet Red puts two Overlay Multipliers, x2 and x3, on the reels and switches on the Enhancer row, and it makes extra Scatters possible and both Vegas$ modes far likelier. xBet Blue costs 1.5x and guarantees one Scatter per spin instead. In Benji Killed in Vegas, Red returns 96.10% and Blue 96.02%, against 96.04% with neither on. Either way, the game pays wins on the base bet.
They jump to new random positions as a spin begins, never two on one cell, though two can share a reel. The game adds together all the overlays resting on a winning combination, and that sum multiplies the win. An xMultiplier from the Enhancer row adds its 2 to 9 to an overlay on its reel, and an xSplit doubles the overlay value.
Only the three high symbols, Ben G, Ab, and G og. One of them landing whole on reel 1, 2, or 3 pulls part-visible copies on other reels into full view, and each nudge adds +1 to a multiplier on the symbol. The game sums those multipliers and applies them to that symbol's win.
Two is the respin level, and three are needed for Vegas$ Spins. Two Scatters trigger the 2-Dice Respin, one extra spin with the Enhancer cells switched on. The two dice become Overlay Multipliers worth x2 and x3 for that spin.
Three Scatters start 9 Vegas$ Spins with x2, x3, and x4 overlays that reset between spins. Each extra Scatter that lands moves the round up to B.I.G. Vegas$ Spins, tops it up by 2 spins and brings an x5 or x6 overlay that stays. Four or five Scatters from the start give 11 or 13 B.I.G. Vegas$ Spins, and there the x2 to x6 overlays never reset.
In the game's simulation, the cap lands 1 in 3,800,000 rounds. For a player, that makes it a long shot on any round, and most players will never see it.
