Duck Hunters 2 Basics
The board carries its multipliers on the squares themselves, and the sequel doubles how far one square can climb. Duck Hunters 2 keeps the 5×6 fence, the eight-of-a-kind pay rule, and the cartoon cull that Duck Hunters opened with in 2025, then lifts the limit on a position multiplier from x8,192 to x16,384 and the maximum payout from 30,000x to 40,000x. Duck Hunters: Happy Hour is between the two. Everything else on this grid is where the original left it.
What’s in the Demo
Eight of a Kind and the Drop

Wins need eight matching symbols on the reel area, and their position doesn’t matter. Above that first tier come 10 or 11 of a kind, then 12 or more, and each step multiplies what the last one paid. Winning symbols are removed from the grid, what was above them falls into the gaps, and the drops keep going while new combinations form. Wins on different symbols in the same drop are all paid.
Multipliers on the Squares
Every position a winning symbol leaves keeps an x2 marker. Win on that square again, and the marker doubles, so repeated hits on one spot run x2, x4, x8, and upward. Random multipliers also land on random positions as a spin begins. The climb stops at x16,384, twice what the first game allowed, and a position multiplier applies to any win that uses its square.
xWays and Infectious xWays
An xWays symbol turns into one of the regular paying symbols and adds x2, x4, or x8 to the multiplier on its position. Infectious xWays goes further, spreading the revealed symbol’s size to every matching symbol on the reel area. Land more than one of either, and they all reveal the same symbol, which is how a single drop fills with Grannies or Phils.
Bomb Symbols
A Bomb waits until no wins remain, then clears itself and everything above it on its reel. It leaves multipliers behind as it goes, x2 on its own square, x4 one row up, x8 on the next, and so on upward. Every Bomb detonates before the next collapse, and Bonus symbols ignore the blast.
Duck Hunt, Hawk Eye and Big Game

Three Bonus symbols open 7 Duck Hunt Spins, four open 8 Hawk Eye Spins, and five open 10 Big Game Spins. Position multipliers carry into all three, and an Extra +1 Shot symbol adds a spin whenever it lands.
What separates the modes is how many random upgrades they hand out: 1, 2, or 3, drawn from six. Those six are Upgraded xWays, an Upgraded Bomb that clears above and below its square, Extra +2 Shots, +2 Upgrades, five extra multipliers on the mode’s opening spin, and one more spin at the start.
Boosters and the Extra Spin
Two Nolimit Booster settings are behind the flame button. Bonus Booster, priced at 3x, guarantees a Bonus symbol on the second reel, while Bonus Hunt, at 30x, guarantees one on the opening spin and on every avalanche a win or a Bomb sets off. When a round with a scatter win ends, the game may offer an Extra Spin that keeps the position multipliers standing, or a cheaper version that halves them, priced from those multipliers.
How to Play
Side Hustle Bets
The lightning button opens Side Hustle, a set of optional bets on named outcomes that add their own cost to the spin. Kill Santa pays if the round takes at least one Santa off the board, and the same bet exists for Granny, Phil, Gamer, Fanboy, and the Duck. Two more are apart from the targets, one on a position reaching the top multiplier value and one on 2 Bonus symbols landing outside the modes. Several can run at once, and the rule sheet doesn’t hide the trade, telling you the return is at its best with nothing added.
Stakes and RTP
€0.20 buys a spin, and a hundred euros is as far as Nolimit City lets the grid climb. The demo runs at an RTP of 96.00%, and the splash badge reads Extreme against a High tier on this site, a gap that is comfortably on a game paying something back on 17.68% of spins.
Duck Man Returns is the name over the limit. Should a round’s total go beyond 40,000x, the game ends it and pays 40,000x flat.
Both Nolimit Booster settings charge their cost on every spin they stay switched on, and symbol pays are worked out from the base bet whichever setting is running. Lower return settings exist, and the table lists them alongside the demo version.

| The version in the demo | 96.00% |

Demo Paytable
Santa heads the table, and the distance between the tiers is wider than the distance between the symbols. Twelve or more Santas pay 6x while eight or nine pay 0.30x, and at that first tier, the four objects at the bottom are level with each other at 0.10x. The six targets run Santa, Granny, Phil, Gamer, Fanboy, and the Duck in that order, and the fall from Santa’s 6x to the Duck’s 2x at 12 or more is the whole spread of the premium band. Neither the Wild nor the Bonus symbol appears in the table.
| Symbol | 8-9 | 10-11 | 12+ |
|---|---|---|---|
| Santa | 0.30x | 1x | 6x |
| Granny | 0.25x | 0.80x | 4x |
| Phil | 0.20x | 0.70x | 3.50x |
| Gamer | 0.15x | 0.60x | 3x |
| Fanboy | 0.15x | 0.50x | 2.50x |
| Duck | 0.10x | 0.40x | 2x |
| Ray gun | 0.10x | 0.30x | 1.75x |
| Meat can | 0.10x | 0.25x | 1.50x |
| Egg | 0.10x | 0.20x | 1.25x |
| Slingshot | 0.10x | 0.15x | 1x |
Ultimate Slots Verdict
Doubling one number and leaving the board alone is the right call for a position-multiplier game, and the three hunts give the change somewhere to land. The sequel is the family at its most patient and its most expensive to wait out.
✓ What We Like
- The limit on a single position doubles to x16,384, and a square keeps its value through every drop
- Three hunt modes with 1, 2, or 3 random upgrades, so a five-Bonus trigger plays differently from a three
- Side Hustle lets you price one named outcome and stack several of them
- The Extra Spin keeps the multipliers already standing, with a cheaper halved version offered beside it
✗ What Could Be Better
- Fewer than a fifth of spins return anything, and the dry stretches are the shape of the game
- Eight of a low symbol pays 0.10x, so small wins are decoration until a multiplier lands on the right square
- Upgrades are dealt at random, so a five-Bonus trigger can still hand out the mildest three
Detailed Review
Our Verdict
A cascade finishes and the board shows its workings. Five cleared squares still carry red markers, one at x8 and four at x2, waiting for whatever drops into them next, while the symbols that survived are underneath. That screen is Duck Hunters 2 in one look, a grid that spends the round building a map of where it has already paid.
Doubling the limit on a square sounds like a spec change and plays like a structural one. A slot that pays by hitting the same positions over and over gets its length from how far a single square can travel, and the sequel hands it one more doubling. The maximum payout rose with it, driven by maths rather than ambition.
Two things hold it back, the hit rate and the low end of the table. Fewer than a fifth of spins return anything, and eight of one of the four objects pays 0.10x, which is a rounding error until a multiplier is standing on the right square. Plenty of rounds end with the map half drawn and nothing on it.
The art carries the joke without straining. Santa, Granny, and a pink-haired Phil take the place of the ducks that used to be the targets, and the forest fence behind the reels keeps the cartoon flat and readable at speed. It is comfortably beside the rest of the duck-themed slots on the site, and among the recent releases from Nolimit City, it’s one of the easier boards to follow while it runs. The multiplier map is the thing to watch in the demo, since a review can describe the doubling but not the wait.
