Win a spin with a nudge symbol showing, and the golden Garuda beside the grid comes alive while the special reel starts pulling a run of multipliers down and adding them into a running total. Ten of those grabs turned a 0.50 win into 40.00 on our second spin of the Fortune Garuda 500 slot. TaDa Gaming takes the passive reel it made for the original Fortune Gems and finally gives it a job. Every winning spin takes the multiplier in the centre of that reel, and when a nudge lands it drags several more onto the win.
A fourth column of its own borders the 3×3 board, and it sets how much a win pays, not whether you land one. Eleven multipliers ride on it, from 1x up through 15x and 50x to a top of 500x. Whichever one stops in the middle counts for every win that spin, so the symbols can pay a few pence or a small fortune depending on the multiplier next to it.
The gold Garuda mask is the standard wild, landing anywhere and paying at the top of the table alongside the Ex NUDGE.
Two nudge symbols set that reel to work, and it helps to tell them apart.
When one appears on a winning spin, the number printed on it is how many downward grabs follow, each one dragging a multiplier off the strip. They add up and apply to the win, so a quick run can turn one payline into the headline of the sitting.
No symbol lands to start this one. The Gift of Garuda drops in at random on any spin, and the Garuda fills the screen when it does. It might crowd the reel with heavier multipliers, swap the last result for a larger one, upgrade whatever is about to land, or hand back a respin that guarantees a better win.
The earliest of these carried one Extra Bet, a flat surcharge that shifted the odds. This game hands you a choice of two.
No win is settled in Fortune Garuda 500 until the special reel has its say. The reels decide whether three matching symbols have landed on any of the five fixed paylines, and the special reel next to them supplies the multiplier that turns that match into a win.
Symbols rank ruby, sapphire then emerald above the carved royals, and the Garuda wild sits at the top. Because the grid is only 3×3, a spin reads at a glance, and the winning symbols light up while the rest of the board dims to keep the eye where it matters.
The payback sits at 97% and TaDa Gaming rates the volatility low, though our session ran hotter than that suggests.
Bets range between £0.20 and £200 a spin, while the Extra Bet lifts the top outlay to £1,600.
The most a round can pay is 25,000x the stake, at which point the game settles up and ends the spin. Being free play, the demo opens the whole stake ladder and either Extra Bet before any real money is involved.
Each three-of-a-kind win below is shown for a £1.00 spin, and the paytable rescales with your bet.

Fortune Garuda 500 keeps the wins coming, then a nudge lands and piles a stack of multipliers onto one of them. A 97% return is generous for a game this relaxed, and the 25,000x maximum is a lot to aim at in one this low in volatility, with the special reel the piece that ties the two together, adding its grabbed multipliers onto whatever the win pays. The Gift of Garuda can drop in unannounced to sweeten a spin, and the Extra Bet lets you trade a bigger stake for the top multipliers. The big wins only come with the grabs, so a longer sitting suits it more than a quick look, and the 3.7 reads as fair for a game this generous and this calm.
We started at 1 a spin and wins came often enough, so we switched to the 8x Extra Bet to see the reel at full stretch. Either way, the special reel is what you are really watching. The multiplier that lands in the middle drives the swing, and a 100x turned a 1.80 line into 180.00 on our best spin, the largest we saw. A 50x in the window took a 2.80 line to 140.00 on another. It can also sting. On one spin a 15x stopped where a 50x sat a couple of places above it, so a 1.50 win came back 22.50 instead of the 75.00 the higher one would have paid.
The nudge symbols are where the game opens up. When one lands on a winning spin the reel makes a set run of grabs, each taking a multiplier from the strip, and the total goes onto the win. Five grabs totalled 125x on one spin and paid 150.00, the best run we saw. On top of that, the Gift of Garuda fires unasked. It hit on our second spin, filling the screen with Ex NUDGE symbols and putting a 500x on the special reel, and the ten-grab run that followed paid 40.00 at 1 a spin.
Set against the rest of the family, this is the version that makes the format work. The first of these we reviewed scored a cautious 2.7, a neat side reel and little around it. The second bolted on a bonus wheel and pushed wins past 10,000x. The third swapped that for splitting symbols. Fortune Garuda 500 takes a different route, making the special reel itself the feature and capping out at 25,000x. It is also the only one with the Garuda standing at the edge of the reels, its eyes lighting as each grab runs.
What you have to accept is a quiet spell around the good moments. Most of the time, it paid us in coppers, and the 500x multipliers glinting on the reel show up far less than their presence suggests. The music is a brief phrase set on repeat, thin enough to tune out mid-run and notice again only when the reels go still.
Across 25 Extra Bet 8x spins we finished 73.00 up. Three wins of 180.00, 150.00 and 140.00 carried it, against 200.00 staked across the session.
