The Dynamite Digger Eureka Demo
Land three Bonus symbols, and Dynamite Digger Eureka stops and asks you a question. Free games, or the Mine Cart? One is a run of 15 spins with a multiplier that climbs as high as x25 while the cascades keep clearing the board. The other is a tunnel pick, 12 levels deep, that ends the moment it hands over a prize. Eyecon rarely gives a player a decision to make, and this 2021 mining slot builds both of its bonus rounds around one.
Features and Bonus Rounds
Cascades
Every line win here is temporary. The symbols that made it explode, and fresh ones fall from above into the gaps. If the new arrangement forms another win, the board pays and clears again, and that carries on until a drop produces nothing. One spin can therefore pay several times over, and the falling board is what the free games multiplier counts.
The Feature Selector
Bonus symbols are counted once the cascades have finished, and three or more on screen stop the game to offer two routes, free games or a Mine Cart run. The count sets the size of both. Three Bonus symbols mean 15 free games or a cart with a 5x minimum, four mean 20 or a cart with a 10x minimum, and five mean 25 or a cart with a 25x minimum. The two options never change, but how they weigh against each other shifts with how many landed.
The Multiplier Climb
Take the free games, and each one opens at x1. The multiplier steps up after every cascade, through x2, x3, x5, x10, x15, x20, and x25, so the jumps only get big from the fourth cascade in a chain. It resets to x1 when the next free game begins, and it lifts line wins only, with scatter wins paid flat. Free games can be retriggered up to 15 times.
Mine Cart Levels
The Mine Cart runs 12 levels deep, with three tunnels to choose from at each one. Every pick either pays a prize, which ends the run, or sends you on to the next level. There’s no way to tell in advance which tunnel does which, so how far you get comes down to luck. The trigger count sets the minimum: at least 5x for three Bonus symbols, 10x for four, and 25x for five. The maximum is 10,000x whichever count started it, so the extra symbols raise the floor rather than the ceiling.
How to Play
The 20-Line Board

Wins pay from the left across 20 lines, and each line counts only its best combination. Wins on separate lines are added together. Then, the cascade runs, the winning symbols clear, replacements fall, and those same 20 lines are read again. A spin isn’t one reading of the board but as many readings as the drops can produce, and that is why a quiet-looking grid can still be working several seconds after the reels stop.
Bonus symbols are scattered, so they pay nothing on a line and the game counts them only once the cascades have finished. That last part matters, because a spin that pays and clears can drop a third Bonus symbol into the gap it just made and trigger the Feature Selector on the way.
The 15, 20, or 25 free games with a retrigger cap of 15 are numbers Eyecon has used for years; the cascades and the Feature Selector are not. Mining is a crowded setting on slot reels, with Le Digger among the newer takes on it, and the falling board is what marks this one out inside Eyecon’s own range.
Stakes and RTP
The 20 lines are always in play, so the slider moves the total stake from $0.20 to $2.00 a spin, which works out to $0.01 to $0.10 a line. The return is 95.300%, and Eyecon publishes a single build of this game rather than the high and low pair it certifies across much of its range. Free games run at the wager that triggered them and over those same 20 lines, so nothing about the stake shifts once a round starts, and the multiplier is the only thing that moves. The studio’s range is mostly 25-line classics built on a 2006 engine, and this is one of the few entries that leaves that format behind.
Game Paytable
The miner, the gold cart, and the pickaxe all pay from two on a line, which is where most cascades begin. Above that, the sheet is steep at one end and flat at the other. The miner returns 12.5x for four and 250x with five on a line, 20 times the four-symbol value and a jump no other row comes close to. The TNT crate, the lantern, and the dynamite bundle look like one tier on the reels and are not, finishing at 37.5x, 10x, and 6.25x with five on a line. The four card ranks land between 1.5x and 3.75x for a full line, and every one of those rows needs three before it pays anything.
| Symbol | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Miner | 1.5x | 7.5x | 12.5x | 250x |
| Gold mine cart | 1x | 5x | 10x | 125x |
| Pickaxe | 0.5x | 3.75x | 7.5x | 50x |
| TNT crate | 3x | 5x | 37.5x | |
| Lantern | 2.5x | 3.75x | 10x | |
| Dynamite | 2x | 3x | 6.25x | |
| A | 1.75x | 2.75x | 3.75x | |
| K | 1.5x | 2x | 2.5x | |
| Q | 1.25x | 1.5x | 2x | |
| J | 1x | 1.25x | 1.5x |
Ultimate Slots Verdict
The choice between free games and the Mine Cart is Eyecon's most interesting feature set, and the cascades give the free games side a multiplier worth chasing. A short cart run and a plain return keep it from scoring higher.
✓ What We Like
- The Feature Selector hands the choice between free games and the Mine Cart pick to the player
- The free games multiplier climbs 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x with each cascade instead of once per spin
- Miner, gold cart, and pickaxe all pay from two symbols, so cascades start easily
✗ What Could Be Better
- The Mine Cart stops the moment it awards a prize, so plenty of runs end well short of level 12
- Guaranteed Mine Cart minimums of 5x, 10x, and 25x are modest next to a 12-level structure
- One published build at 95.300%, with the four card ranks bunched between 1.5x and 3.75x for five
Detailed Review
Which Tunnel?
Pit props frame the reels, rails run away underneath them, and lumps of gold glint out of the rock on either side. It’s a warm cartoon mine rather than a grimy one, and the look has to carry a fair amount, because what is under it is plain. Five reels, three rows, 20 fixed lines, four card ranks doing the low-end work.
What lifts it is the question the game asks when the Bonus symbols land. Most slots choose your feature for you. This one puts two on the table, makes you commit to one, and the count you triggered has already changed what each is worth before you decide. That’s rare in an Eyecon game, and it’s the best idea here.
The cart doesn’t always reward the commitment. A pick 12 levels deep sounds like a journey, but the run ends as soon as a prize is awarded, so plenty of them are over in a handful of picks, and a short run may not get far past the guaranteed minimum of 5x, 10x, or 25x. Free games are the side where 20 lines and cascades work together, because the multiplier only climbs while the board keeps clearing.
The 95.300% return is standard for the studio, and the sheet behind it is too, until the miner’s five-symbol row at 250x against 12.5x for four. That gap is where a long chain of cascades under a rising multiplier could actually go somewhere, and it is also why the standard rounds feel quiet between features.
Dynamite Digger came first and ran on the studio’s static format. Eureka is the follow-up where Eyecon changed the engine instead of the artwork, and on this evidence, it should have done that more often.
