About Game

The Bee Keeper Demo

Every honey jar in Bee Keeper carries a value from 2x to 2,000x the bet, and the round cap sits at 2,100x. One jar can almost fill the cap on its own, and the honeypot ladder that multiplies collected jars by x2, x3 and then x20 runs straight into it, so a 50x jar under the x20 pays 1,000x from a single collect.

The demo here runs in free play with the same jars, honeypots and buy price as the cash version, so everything below can be checked on screen.

Underneath the hexagons, the frame is the fishing collect format Reel Kingdom has built for years: a 5×3 grid with 10 paylines, bent into a honeycomb.

Features and Bonus Rounds

Honey Jars That Only Pay in the Feature

Bee Keeper spin with five honey jars on the honeycomb and a $4 line win
Five honey jars on one screen at the $2 stake, labelled $10 to $40, beside a three-daisy line 8 win of $4; with no Bee Wild outside free spins, none of the jar values pay.

The jars are the money symbols. Each one takes a new value every spin, from 2x at the bottom to 2,000x the total bet at the top, and the step below 2,000x is 50x, so the top jar is 40 times the next one down. In regular play, the jars pay as a line symbol: 1x for 3, 5x for 4 and 20x for 5, and the cash value on the label does nothing. Five jars on one screen with no way to collect them pay 20x for the line and nothing from the labels. The values only count once a Bee Wild lands, and the wild only exists in free spins.

The Bee Wild and Three Honeypots

Three, 4 or 5 beekeeper scatters start 10, 15 or 20 free spins. The Bee Wild appears on every reel during the round, substitutes for everything except the scatter and the jars, and collects the value of every jar on screen when it lands.

Reels 1, 3 and 5 each have a honeypot underneath, and every 4th wild fills the next pot from the left. The first pot adds 10 spins and puts the jar multiplier at x2. The second adds 10 more and moves it to x3. The third adds 20 spins and jumps the multiplier to x20, and after that the feature can’t retrigger again. So 12 wilds buys the x20. When wilds land on a screen with no jars, the game can drop jars into random positions at the end of that spin, so a wild rarely goes to waste.

Special reels run during the feature, so jar and wild frequencies change once you’re in.

A 2,100x Cap Against a 2,000x Jar

The rules put it in one line, “The maximum win amount is limited to 2,100x bet.” The biggest jar is 2,000x, 100x short of that line. A 2,000x jar collected under the x2 multiplier would already run past the cap, and a 50x jar under x20 lands at 1,000x from a single collection.

The ladder exists to reach the cap, not to go beyond it, and on any spin where the x20 is live the cap is closer than the maths suggests. Free spins that hit the third honeypot are a countdown to 2,100x rather than an open-ended climb.

Buy Free Spins and the 10x Ante

The buy button reads 100x the bet, $200 at the $2 stake, and the buy spin guarantees 3, 4 or 5 scatters. The ante bet multiplies the stake by 10x instead of the normal 5x, doubling the stake, adding more scatters to the reels, and disabling the buy while it’s on.

Doubling the stake for a better trigger rate is steep by Pragmatic Play standards; Fish Eye’s ante adds half the stake, and Wild Wild Riches’s adds a fifth. Both the buy and the ante hold the same 96.53% RTP as normal play.

How to Play

The Paylines Are Not Diagonal

The paylines do not follow the hexagons. The honeycomb offsets reels 2 and 4 by half a cell, which makes the 10 lines look like they run at an angle when they don’t. The line diagrams in the rules draw the same 5×3 grid as any 10-line slot, so a win on line 8 runs through the same three positions it would on a square layout, and the hexagons are a skin over it. Wins read left to right from reel 1, one win per line, highest only. The beehive and the Bee Wild also pay for a pair, 0.4x for 2, and the wild has no line pay beyond that pair.

On a phone or tablet, everything you need is a tap. The spin button sits bottom centre-right under the thumb, and the plus and minus either side of it step the bet up and down. A tap on the speed icon cycles normal, quick and turbo spin. Autoplay opens a menu with a spin count and a Skip Screens setting that jumps past the feature intro and end cards. The ante toggle is a tap on the hexagon plaque to the left of the reels, and the Buy Free Spins plaque beneath it opens the buy dialog with the price already worked out for the current bet. The info button bottom left opens the rules, where the money symbol list and the honeypot ladder live.

RTP and Bet Values

Switching the ante on doubles the price of every spin, because the bet multiplier goes from 5x to 10x, and that is why the top stake reads $500 rather than half of it. The demo bets range from $0.05 up to that figure; every step between them runs through the plus and minus, and the buy plaque re-prices itself at each one. The RTP is 96.53% in all three modes, normal play, ante and buy. Medium on the volatility badge, High in this rating. A collect format with a 2,000x jar and a x20 multiplier behind a 12-wild ladder does not pay steadily, whatever the badge says, and a run of free spins with two or three wilds and small jars pays close to nothing.

Bee Keeper Paytable

Bee Keeper paytable screen with symbol values, the Bee Wild and the scatter
The symbol pays at $2, beehive $400 for five down to $0.80 for three royals, with the Bee Wild paying $0.80 for a pair and nothing else.
Multiples of the total bet 5 4 3 2
Beehive 200x 20x 5x 0.4x
Honey dipper 100x 15x 3x
Strawberry 50x 10x 2x
Daisy 50x 10x 2x
Honey jars 20x 5x 1x
A, K, Q, J, 10 10x 2x 0.4x
Bee Wild 0.4x

Only the beehive and the wild pay for a pair, and the 200x top line win, $400 at the $2 stake, is a tenth of the biggest jar. Big Bass Bonanza runs the same structure under a different skin, with money symbols that only pay when the wild lands in free spins and a retrigger every 4 wilds. The fish become jars, the fisherman becomes a bee in goggles, and the honeycomb replaces the lake. What Bee Keeper changes is the third step of the ladder, where x20 replaces a gentler climb, and the frequency of the 2,000x jar is the number neither game shows you.

Ultimate Slots Verdict

A tidy Reel Kingdom collect slot, built for Pragmatic Play in September 2025, with a picture-book skin and a x20 ladder that runs into a 2,100x cap. The demo is worth a few rounds for the honeypots; regular play is a waiting room. It's not a world beating game but at the same time, it's not bad either.

3/5 Good

What We Like

  • Money jars run to 2,000x, one step from the cap
  • Third honeypot jumps the multiplier from x3 to x20
  • Random jar drops when wilds land on an empty screen
  • Same 96.53% RTP in normal play, ante and buy

What Could Be Better

  • Jar values do nothing outside free spins
  • Ante bet doubles the stake, the steepest in the fishing family

Detailed Review

Bee Keeper Play Review

Sunflowers, a bearded keeper with a smoker and a bee in aviator goggles holding a pot on the right, make it look like a children’s picture book. That art is the softest thing about it. The maths underneath is a 12-wild ladder with a cap that sits 100x above the biggest single jar, and that cap decides how the game feels far more than the honeycomb does.

Start with the third honeypot. Getting there means 12 Bee Wilds in one round, and the rules say nothing about how often the wild lands, so the x20 is a rumour for most of the free play sessions you’ll run. The demo shows the run-up plainly. You will see jars on screen and no wild, then a wild on screen with one small jar. The feature pays when wilds and big jars overlap, and the ladder only makes overlap richer, never more likely.

Fish Eye and Big Bass Day at the Races both stop at 10,000x on the same 10-line frame, so 2,100x is the low end of the studio’s fishing range. Bee Keeper is closer to the original Big Bass Bonanza, the entry it copies, and its 96.53% RTP is a touch above the 96.5% most Pragmatic Play line slots carry. A 2,000x money symbol under a 2,100x cap reads as a design meant to hand out one big collect and end the round. Fishin’ Frenzy, the Blueprint game this format grew from, keeps its fish values low and lets the free spins do the collecting, and most collect slots with a similar cap follow that shape rather than this one.

The honeycomb is cosmetic, the ante is expensive, and the cap is a wall. The reason to open the demo is still the ladder, because a round that reaches the second pot at x3 with two 50x jars on screen is a proper feature. Reel Kingdom knows this format better than anyone, and the free spins are as tidy as ever. What’s missing is anything to do between features except wait.

Frequently Asked Questions

The demo runs at 96.53% in normal play, with the ante bet and with the buy. Pragmatic Play's official page lists 96.51%, 0.02 below the demo, and two lower versions exist at 95.53% and 94.53%, so a casino can run any of the four. The rules screen in the game you're playing shows which one is live.
Twelve in a single free spins round. Every 4th wild fills the next honeypot from the left, so the 4th wild gives x2 and 10 extra spins, the 8th gives x3 and 10 more, and the 12th gives x20 and 20 more. After the third honeypot the feature can't retrigger.
Outside free spins the jars pay only as a line symbol, 1x for 3, 5x for 4 and 20x for 5, and the cash value on the label pays nothing. The label pays when a Bee Wild lands on the same screen, and the wild only appears during free spins.
