Demo Basics

5 Treasures does exactly what it says. It is a straightforward Chinese-themed slot with five premium symbols, free spins built around those symbols, and a jackpot that fires at random. There are no complications, no cascades, nothing that needs explaining twice.

Inside the Slot

Wild and Base Game

The Fu Bat is the wild and appears only on reels 2, 3 and 4, in both standard play and all free spin modes. It substitutes for every other symbol. The game uses a 243 Any Way Pays format on a 5×3 grid, meaning wins form from left to right with one symbol from each adjacent reel rather than along fixed lines. Only the highest win per combination pays.

Free Spins

Three or more Treasure Door symbols on consecutive reels from the leftmost trigger the free spins, awarding a payout alongside 6 spins. When triggered from standard play, a mode selection screen appears with five options. Each mode loads a different premium symbol heavily into its reel set, with the number of that symbol across all five reels varying by tier.

Mode Symbols loaded
Koi 128 Koi symbols
Turtle 118 Turtle symbols
Tiger 108 Tiger symbols
Phoenix 98 Phoenix symbols
Dragon 88 Dragon symbols

More symbols in the reel set mean that the symbol appears more frequently during the spins. Koi offers the highest frequency, but Koi is one of the lower-paying premium symbols. Dragon loads the fewest symbols, but Dragon pays more per combination. The choice is a trade between frequency and value. All modes share the same card symbols, Fu Bat wild, and Treasure Door alongside the chosen premium.

Free spins run at the same total bet as the spin that triggered them. Retriggering is possible: landing 3 or more Treasure Doors on consecutive reels from reel 1 during the feature awards a payout and 6 additional spins using the same mode already in play. Free spins end when the count reaches zero or the maximum win for the session is reached.

Jackpot Feature

Fu Bat symbols landing on the reels add coins to the pot sitting above the grid. When the pot lid closes, the Jackpot feature triggers. A pick screen presents 12 coins. Selecting coins reveals Fu Baby characters, and matching three of the same character awards one of four jackpots: Mini, Minor, Major or Grand. The feature can fire on any spin in standard play or during free spins. If both the Jackpot and free spins are awarded on the same spin, the Jackpot plays out first. The size of the pot accumulation does not affect when or whether the Jackpot feature triggers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Only the chosen premium symbol changes between modes. All five modes share the same Ace, King, Queen, Jack, Ten, Nine, Fu Bat and Treasure Door symbols in their reel sets, with the selected premium added on top. Treasure Door frequency is the same regardless of which mode is picked.
No. Each free spin mode uses only its chosen premium symbol alongside the shared base symbols. If Dragon Free Spins is active, only Dragon appears as the premium on those reels — the other four premium symbols are not present in that mode's reel set.
No. The in-game rules state explicitly that the accumulation of coins in the pot has no effect on triggering the Jackpot feature. The pot closing is the visual indicator that it has triggered, but the trigger itself is determined independently of how many coins have built up.
