Fortune of Qilin Demo from Live22
Fortune of Qilin makes Wilds out of framed symbols, and the problem with that kind of slot is how long a frame takes to pay off. Golden Empire settles it in one step. Live22 takes two here, asking the same symbol to win in a silver frame and then again in gold before it breaks into Wilds. The answer is the gold frames that miss, which stay on the reels for the next spin.
On Golden Empire, a framed symbol caught up in a win turns into a single Wild that keeps the frame’s height. Fortune of Qilin pays on 46,656 ways, a count few slots here share, and its frames need the extra win, but a winning gold symbol pays that back by breaking into 2 to 4 separate Wilds.

Silver Then Gold
Wilds-on-the-Way begins with oversized symbols covering 2 to 4 spaces, and reels 2 to 5 can bring one in with a silver frame. Once a silver-framed symbol is included in a win, the next cascade upgrades it to gold. When a gold-framed symbol comes up in a win, it breaks into 2 to 4 Wilds depending on its size. Starting from silver, that is two wins from the same symbol before the first Wild appears, which puts the payoff in the back half of a cascade chain, though a short chain still leaves the symbol gold, since the upgrade comes whether or not the Wilds follow.
Frames That Carry Over
Persistent Gold Frames is the rule that makes the slow route pay its way. A gold-framed symbol that doesn’t win during a cascade sequence stays locked for the next spin, changing into a fresh symbol but keeping its gold status, so a spin can open with gold frames in place, each one win away from Wilds. Golden Frames Sync Reveal makes every active gold frame reveal the same matching symbol at once, after a cascade settles or mid-spin on a fresh round.
Super Scatters
Four or more Scatters trigger the Free Spins, a round of expanding Wilds and climbing win multipliers. The Extra Bet doubles the cost of each spin to add Super Scatters, which raise the chance of the bonus and bring bigger free spin counts and quicker multiplier growth. Buy Mode 1 costs 100x for the standard Free Spins. Mode 2 costs 200x, exactly twice as much, and the extra 100x pays for an upgraded round in which Super Scatters drop at a boosted rate.
Gold frames that stay locked between spins earn back the wait in Fortune of Qilin, a Live22 release from September 2026. Two wins per frame is a slower deal than Golden Empire’s one, and the carry-over is why it holds up beside it. It’s a patient design, with plenty of company among the other Chinese demos on the site.
How to Play
Game RTP
Fortune of Qilin’s return comes to 96.32%, and Live22 rates it Medium-High. Put that beside a Free Spins round of escalating multipliers, and expect the larger results to come from the bonus, with regular play doing the setting up through its gold frames.
Payouts on 46,656 Ways
Instead of fixed lines, the game pays across 46,656 ways. A win clears its symbols and new ones cascade into the gaps, which can set up another win on the same spin. Reels 2 to 5 can also take oversized symbols covering 2 to 4 spaces, and the size matters twice, because an oversized symbol can land in a silver frame and can later break into that many Wilds.
The cascade is what moves a frame along. A silver frame upgrades on the cascade after its win, a gold frame breaks into Wilds when it wins, and a gold frame left over when the chain ends is kept for the next spin. Alongside all of that, four or more Scatters set off the Free Spins. Following one frame from silver through gold to Wilds is the quickest way to learn the order, and free play costs nothing while you do.
