FRKN Bananas Demo Basics

Six blue diamonds on a line pay 3x, and six banana wilds pay 5x. That leaves the FRKN Bananas paytable almost bare where it ought to be richest, so any win worth a second look has to come from the bananas. Each one lands with a multiplier on it, can copy that value to the edge of the grid, up its reel or left along its row, and adds the numbers wherever two spreads cross or several bananas share a winning line.
It arrived with the February 2025 Hacksaw releases, and in free play the FRKN Bananas slot keeps its reels in a wooden crate in a neon-lit back alley, under yellow-and-black tape reading WARNING WILD BANANAS and stickered THIS SIDE UP.
A banana with its peel swept back like a quiff scowls beside the crate, and apart from the bananas themselves, the fruit on the reels stops at a watermelon slice, because the other premium symbols are a mustard-striped hot dog, a bucket of popcorn, a purple boxing glove, and a blue diamond. Nobody promised a healthy alley. Grey stencilled letters and a 10 cover the lower pays, and a squashed peel oozes on the right-hand side of the screen.
Banana Spread
Two Directions

A Spreading Banana arrives pointing either up or left and shows its multiplier the moment it lands, anything from 1x up to 100x. It then tries to copy itself to the edge of the grid, straight up its reel or straight left along its row, and each copy takes the original’s value. The copying only goes ahead if the finished spread completes at least one win, so a banana with nothing to connect to stays where it landed as one wild with a number on it. Every banana on the grid is wild; the Go Bananas symbol is not.
Stacked Values
Crossings are where the numbers climb. A cell that both an upward and a leftward spread pass through shows the two values summed, and a winning line that runs through several bananas sums them again and multiplies its pay by that total. No value ever multiplies another here. Every combination is a sum, so you can tot up a line’s multiplier in your head before the win counter finishes.
Banana Bonuses
Bananza!
Three FS scatters in regular play start Bananza!, a 10-spin bonus that keeps the usual rules but lands more of the high-value Spreading Bananas, and puts them in more favourable spots for their spreads. Nothing else changes, so it plays like ordinary spins with the odds tilted toward the fruit that matters here.
Banana Blitz!
Four FS scatters open Banana Blitz!, also 10 spins, and this is the round FRKN Bananas is really about. Sticky Bananas stay put until it ends and draw a fresh value from the same list each spin. Land the Go Bananas symbol while at least one Sticky is on the grid, and it reveals a number from 3 to 10, then makes that many copies of each Sticky, dropped at random positions, each with its source’s value. Copies that land on top of each other add their values, and the copies leave with the Go Bananas symbol before the next spin. You can reach the 10,000x maximum win in any mode, this bonus included.
Buy Options

Going by volatility label, three of the buy menu’s four options read Very high. Those are the BonusHunt and Spread ‘Em FeatureSpins settings, at 3x and 50x a spin, the second landing at least two Spreading Bananas and keeping FS symbols off the reels, along with Banana Blitz! at 200x. Bananza! at 100x alone is marked High, which leaves the 3x setting, the cheapest thing on the menu, wearing the same label as the most expensive bonus.
How to Play
No-Land Zones
Upward-pointing bananas can never land on the top row, and left-pointing ones are never dealt onto reel 1, in any mode, so every Spreading Banana arrives with at least one cell ahead of it to spread into. A spread only happens when it completes a win, and a win is 3 to 6 matching symbols in a row on one of 19 lines, the first of them on reel 1.
Those zones shape how you read a spin in the demo. The lower an upward banana lands, the more of its reel it can claim, and the further right a left-pointer lands, the more of its row it can cross. A leftward spread always runs to the edge, so its copies always reach reel 1, where every line begins, while an upward spread never leaves the reel it landed on. Think of them as bananas with a very strict sense of direction.
The order on screen never changes. Bananas land, show their values, spread if the result would pay, and only then do the lines settle. Banana Blitz! adds a third landing rule of the same kind, since copied bananas never drop onto a Sticky Banana, the Go Bananas symbol, or an FS scatter, although one copy can land on another. Bananza! works the same idea from the other side, landing its bananas in more favourable spots for spreading.
Bananas do have a pay of their own, but only for six in a row, and the regular symbols run shallow, so the size of a line depends far more on how many bananas it crosses and the numbers they show than on which symbol completes it.

Ultimate Slots Verdict
FRKN Bananas rates 3.8/5 because its spreading banana wilds give real reach to regular symbols that top out at 3x for six diamonds. Two directions, no-land zones, and values that add keep the system easy to follow, and Banana Blitz! uses it best. Away from the bonuses, a spread needs a win first, and regular spins lose their spark.

Detailed Review
Up or Left Only
Sun Princess throws its Sun Rays from its frames in straight lines, vertically, horizontally, or four ways at once, and converts whatever they cross to the frame’s symbol. FRKN Bananas is stricter. Each Spreading Banana gets one direction, up or left, and every cell it crosses becomes a wild showing its number. A board here is quicker to read than one lit by Sun Rays, and a little less dramatic, since no spread ever fans out from a banana in more than one direction.
In our review, that strictness counts in the game’s favour. With two directions and two no-land zones, you can see straight away where a spread could go, and the maths stays simple because values only ever add, first on a shared cell and again along a line. Banana Blitz! makes the best use of it. Sticky Bananas keep their places and re-roll, and one Go Bananas symbol can throw 3 to 10 copies of each Sticky across the grid, so a handful of bananas can become a crowded board in one spin. With values reaching 100x per banana, that round has real reach, and either bonus can also be bought outright from the menu.
Regular Play Could be Better
Regular play is the weak spot. A spread has to finish a win before it happens, so in ordinary spins a banana can land, fail to spread and stay a single wild, and there’s not much else to fall back on when six diamonds pay 3x. A high-value banana that lands and goes nowhere is a tease, and it wears thin between bonuses. For a slot whose whole case rests on its bananas, that’s a real cost.
