Le Series

Hacksaw Gaming’s Le series stars Smokey the Raccoon, a mischievous cartoon character who appears in a different costume and setting with each entry while the core format stays consistent. All nine titles run on a 6×5 cluster pays grid with Super Cascades and Golden Squares at the heart of the mechanic. Wins form from clusters of five or more matching symbols, triggering cascades that remove all matching symbols of the winning type from the grid. Golden Squares highlight positions behind winning symbols, then activate when a Rainbow symbol lands to reveal coins, multiplier clovers, and Pot of Gold collectors. Every entry in the series is playable as a free demo, alongside the wider Hacksaw Gaming slot library.

Le Bandit (2023) is where the series started. Smokey haunts Parisian back streets as a pickpocket, and the game establishes the cluster-pays format that every subsequent entry builds on. Three free spins modes include Treasure at the End of the Rainbow, which can only be triggered naturally and guarantees a Rainbow on every spin. It’s the highest-value bonus in the original game and cannot be purchased. Max win 10,000x.

Le Pharaoh takes Smokey to ancient Egypt with the Revolver Reveal mechanic, a spinning cylinder that lands special symbols on the grid adding a layer of volatility on top of the standard cascade structure. The Egyptian setting gives it a distinct visual identity from the Paris original.

Le Viking brings Smokey to the Norse fjords with a ways-to-win format rather than fixed paylines, running up to 15,625 ways. The Viking setting introduces axe and longship symbols alongside the standard Golden Squares setup, and the ways-to-win structure makes it play differently in the base game from the cluster entries.

Le King puts Smokey in a Vegas rhinestone jumpsuit on a 6×5 cluster pays grid with three free spins modes and persistent Golden Squares. It’s the most Vegas-adjacent entry in the series and pushes the max win ceiling to 20,000x, the highest of the earlier entries.

Le Cowboy moves the raccoon to the Wild West with a Revolver Reveal mechanic that spins chambers to land bonus symbols during free spins. It carries the highest max win potential in the series at 25,000x, and the free spins modes include escalating multipliers tied to the revolver mechanic. High-variance players tend to gravitate toward this one.

Le Zeus brings Smokey to Mount Olympus with the Mystery Reveal feature replacing the standard Golden Squares activation. Mystery symbols can reveal wilds, high-value symbols, or trigger full Mystery Reels that transform entire columns. Three bonus modes include one triggered by five scatters that guarantees high-value Mystery symbols throughout. Max win 20,000x.

Le Santa takes the format into a Christmas setting with festive symbol sets and seasonal visual design, while keeping the cluster pays and Golden Squares structure of the earlier entries. It’s the lightest in tone of the nine games and the natural seasonal choice.

Le Fisherman sends Smokey fishing with an updated Golden Squares mechanic and a new addition not found elsewhere in the series — the Epic Rainbow symbol, which activates special symbols across the entire grid rather than just on Golden Squares, significantly raising the ceiling of a single trigger. A Big Catch Bar operates during free spins as a progressive collection feature. Max win 15,000x.

Le Bunny is the most recent entry, released for Easter 2026. It follows the cluster pays format of Le Bandit and Le Fisherman, with an Easter-themed symbol set and three free spins modes. As the newest entry, it adds further variation to an already wide-ranging series without departing from the mechanics that have made it one of Hacksaw’s most consistent performers.
