Book of Power Overview
If you’ve played one book slot, you might expect to watch this one rather than steer it. The Book of Power demo answers that with a small switch marked POWER BET, left of reel 1. Leave it off, and three Books open a regular Free Spins round. Switch it on, and each spin costs double, Power Free Spins can trigger from the reels, and a regular award can be traded for a chance at the other round.

Power Bet
Power Bet costs +100% on top of your regular bet, opens the chance to trigger Power Free Spins, which need a Power Book among the Books, and raises the chance of triggering any Free Spins mode by +170%. In Beast Mode, a three-symbol trigger comes with a stated 50/50 gamble to upgrade; here the rules give no odds, so you choose blind.

A trio of Books awards 10 spins, four award 15, and five award 20, and one of the 9 regular symbols becomes the Expanding Symbol. With 2 on screen for a high-paying symbol, or 3 for a low one, it covers its reels and pays on all 10 lines. The two rounds part ways on retriggers.

A golden reel stays that way for the remainder of the round and counts as if the Expanding Symbol had landed on it.
Buy Feature
Either round can be bought in the main game, Free Spins at 100x your regular bet and Power Free Spins at 200x. Each guarantees a minimum of 3 Books, one of them the Power Book in the 200x version.
Power Free Spins are the reason to play Book of Power. The regular round is the book round you already know. The Power round can climb one symbol to the explorer, the most valuable of the nine, then multiply it up to 9x while golden reels do some of the landing, and that feels like a different game in the same temple. A doubled stake or 200x up front is a real cost, but the climb earns it.
How to Play
Books and Lines
The Book does two jobs. It’s the Wild, substituting for any symbol other than the special Expanding Symbol in Free Spins, and it’s the trigger, with 3, 4, or 5 opening Free Spins. Books pay on a line too, from two of a kind, at the same rates as the explorer.
The numbered gold markers down both sides of the reels label the 10 lines, and all of them stay active on every bet. Each line pays only its highest combination, counted from the leftmost reel, and a spin pays the total of all its winning lines.
In either Free Spins mode, the Expanding Symbol pays after the normal line wins. With 2 of a high-paying symbol or 3 of a low one on screen, it covers each reel it landed on and pays for each of the 10 lines regardless of horizontal position. Books on screen don’t count toward that payout, and when there’s more than one Expanding Symbol, the game pays them one after another.
Power Bet and RTP
Relax sets stakes at €0.10 to €60 a spin; Power Bet costs +100% on top of the regular bet. The RTP is 96.11%. Since this is free play, you can run the demo with the switch on for a while, then off, and see how each setting feels without spending anything.
Game Paytable
The four picture symbols pay from two of a kind, the five letters from three, and the Book matches the explorer at every count. The explorer is a young man with swept-back dark hair and a blue scarf; the pharaoh is a gold death-mask face under a blue-and-gold striped headdress.

The letters are packed tight, 15x or 10x for five, and the table jumps to 75x at the shrine and pyramid, then to 200x and 500x at the top. That spread is what the Power round’s upgrade climbs. Relax’s own Book of 99, from May 2021, pays the same five-of-a-kind figures on its nine regular symbols, rank for rank. Book of Power arrived in March 2023 with that ladder intact and gave it a new way to climb.
