Halloween Wins Demo Basics

In the Halloween Wins demo, a free spins round can’t finish on less than 10x the bet that triggered it. Run out of spins below that mark, and the game gives you 4 more, then another 4 if you still need them, until the round’s total climbs above 10x. You’ll find four kinds of Wild and three side games in free play on this 50-line slot as well, but that floor is the rule to understand first.
Halloween Wins was Red Rake’s October 2023 release, a 5×4 grid of Dracula, Frankenstein, a black cat, a horse-drawn carriage, and a pale, scarred hand standing on its fingertips. The letters are fused with lit candles, and the Bonus symbol is a purple Victorian mansion under a yellow-orange sky.
Features and Minigames
| Wild | How it appears | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Wild (green lettering) | A regular symbol with its own pay row | Substitutes in line wins, except for the Bonus; 20x for five |
| Full Dracula Wild | In full on the central reel | Is fixed in place and launches a respin of the other reels, where Dracula symbols may appear on reels 1, 2, 4 and 5 |
| Full expanding Wild | May appear on any reel during a spin | Covers the full reel as a Wild |
| Pumpkin Wild | Reels not specified | A win with 1 or more may be multiplied by x2, x3, x4, x6, x8, x10, x12 or x20 |
The Dracula Respin is the showiest, with the whole middle reel turned into Dracula in a red frock coat, wine glass in hand, while the other reels respin and may add more Draculas.
Triple Electric Wheel

The triple electric wheel starts turning when a Frankenstein lands on each of reels 1, 3 and 5. It has three rings of multipliers and pockets. A plain pocket multiplies your bet by its value and ends the minigame. An electric pocket starts the next ring instead, and that ring keeps stopping in new pockets until it finds a winning one. Minor, Major, and Grand wins can come out of the wheel too.
Ancient Mummy Minigame
The glass tube beside reel 1 is a progress bar, and each non-winning spin adds a percentage to it. Fill it entirely, and the Ancient Mummy Minigame opens on 20 wooden coffins marked R.I.P. You choose caskets for wins and multipliers until the mummy appears for the third time, which ends the game. So, a losing spin isn’t a complete write-off here.
Free Spins
Three Bonus mansions start the round when reels 2, 3 and 4 each land one at the same time, on or within one position of the first payline, and you collect the normal scatter pay as well. You get 10 free spins on special reels. A random multiplier appears during each spin and applies to regular wins, but not to scatter wins. Land three Bonus symbols while the spins play out, and 5 more are added.
If the finished feature has paid less than 10 times the bet that activated it, 4 extra free spins follow, and further batches of 4 keep coming until the total exceeds 10x. A slow round just gets longer, but 10x is a minimum, not a promise of more.
How to Play
Halloween Wins has 50 lines across 5 reels of 4 rows, and each of them pays across adjacent reels, starting on reel 1. A line holding two or more wins pays only the highest. Where a combination could pay more than one way, the game awards it in the configuration with the highest multiplier. The Wild substitutes on those lines, but it won’t stand in for the Bonus mansion.
Several features have their own reels to land on. Frankenstein needs reels 1, 3 and 5, while the Bonus mansions want reels 2, 3 and 4 together. The full Dracula Wild has to appear on the central reel, where it’s fixed in place while the other reels spin again, and Dracula symbols may appear on reels 1, 2, 4 and 5 during that respin. That makes reel 3 the one three different features look at. The expanding Wild may appear on any reel, and The Hand pays with any bet.
Frankenstein has no pay row; a trio of him across reels 1, 3 and 5 starts the wheel instead. Keep an eye on the tube at the left of the screen as well, since the losing spins you’d otherwise forget about are what fill it, and a full tube opens the casket game.
Once you’re in the free spins, a random multiplier lands on each spin and works on regular wins but not on scatter wins. Those spins play out on special reels of their own.
Stake Range and RTP
While the top total bet in the demo is €35, you can play for as little as €0.20 a spin. Return to player stands at 95.3%.
Symbol Payouts
Three Draculas pay more than three Wilds, 0.8x against 0.6x, although the Wild takes over from four of a kind. The ghost pays the same as A and K, and Q, J, and 10 share one row. The black cat and the carriage both pay 10x for five, but the cat’s four of a kind is worth 2.4x against the carriage’s 2x. The Hand’s awards are listed in multiples of the total bet.
| Symbol | 3 | 4 | 5 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wild | 0.6x | 4x | 20x |
| Dracula | 0.8x | 3x | 15x |
| Black cat | 0.6x | 2.4x | 10x |
| Carriage | 0.6x | 2x | 10x |
| Ghost, A, K (each) | 0.5x | 1x | 6x |
| Q, J, 10 (each) | 0.3x | 0.5x | 3x |
| The Hand (any bet) | 2x | 10x | 200x |
Ultimate Slots Verdict
Halloween Wins scores 4.2 because few routes through it end in nothing. You get four Wild forms, a wheel opened by three Frankensteins across reels 1, 3 and 5 that turns until it finds a winning pocket, a casket game fed by losing spins, and free spins that add 4 more at a time while they're short of 10x the triggering bet. A 20x top line pay and a 95.3% RTP hold it back.
✓ What We Like
- Free spins that total less than 10x the triggering bet get 4 extra spins, again and again, until the total exceeds 10x.
- A full Dracula Wild on the central reel is fixed in place while the other reels respin.
- A pumpkin Wild may multiply a win by one of eight values from x2 up to x20.
- Three Frankensteins across reels 1, 3 and 5 start a wheel whose electric pockets pass the turn to the next ring until a winning pocket comes up.
- Losing spins fill the progress bar toward a casket game that runs until the mummy's third appearance.
- Five of The Hand pay 200x the total bet, with any bet.
✗ What Could Be Better
- Line pays are modest, with five Wilds at 20x and Q, J, and 10 at 3x for five.
- A full Dracula Wild on the central reel, an expanding Wild, and a pumpkin multiplier are all things that may happen, while the free spins need a mansion on each of reels 2, 3 and 4 at once, on or within one position of payline 1.
Detailed Review
Halloween Wins Play Review
Picture two Frankenstein tiles, one on the first reel and one on the last, with a Bonus mansion at the top of reel 3 between them. The wheel wants Frankenstein across reels 1, 3 and 5, the free spins want mansions across reels 2, 3 and 4, and the full Dracula Wild has to appear on reel 3 for its respin. One middle reel serves three features, and that’s how Halloween Wins is built, with feature after feature stacked on the same grid, each with its own way in.
Easy to Rate Highly
It’s an easy slot to recommend. The wheel keeps turning until it lands a winning pocket, while the free spins don’t stop until they’ve paid more than 10x the triggering bet, so two of the three side games always end with something. Add four kinds of Wild and a casket game that losing spins pay for, and there are very few routes through this game that finish with nothing. The progress tube is clever, too, since it turns a spin that pays nothing into one that moves a bar you can see.
The line pays hold it back. Five Wilds pay 20x, and Q, J, and 10 pay 3x for five. The Hand’s 200x for five is on a different scale from the whole line table. Each side game needs its own trigger, and three of the four Wild forms are chances rather than certainties. That’s why this review stops at 4.2.
The Sequel
Red Rake clearly liked what it had. Halloween Wins 2 arrived in October 2024 and kept the Triple Electric Wheel and the Dracula Respin, adding hold-and-win play behind pumpkin doors, and Halloween Wins 3, announced in October 2025, kept both again. Among Halloween slots, this first entry puts the 10x floor, the four Wilds, and the casket game in one place, and it’s the one we’d start the series with.
