Blood Diamond Demo Overview

Blood Diamond opens each bonus round with 5 free spins, whether 3, 4, or 5 Bonus symbols triggered it. What the extra symbols change in the Blood Diamond demo is the number of upgrades, one, two, or three, drawn from a list of six that ends with the max win.
That swap of length for strength drives a 2025 Nolimit City release set in a diamond mine, and the reels outside the bonus are built to feed it with chains, 4-high stacks, and nudging Wilds.
Game Features
Reels on One Chain

Chained Reels can fire on any spin. Two or more neighbouring reels link up and land identical symbols, so a three-reel chain behaves like one column copied three times. Characters stack up to 4 high, and a copied stack multiplies the routes a win can take.
The xNudge Wild
The xNudge Wild lands as a stack and nudges up or down until it covers its whole reel, gaining +1 multiplier per step. Two or more of them add their values into one win multiplier.
A Wild That Copies Itself
xNudge Desire strikes at random on base-game spins and drops 1 to 5 xNudge Wilds onto the reels, and the Bonus is the only symbol none of them can replace. If one of those Wilds lands on a chained reel, the other reels in the chain get one too, so a three-reel chain turns one added Wild into three.
Free Spins
Upgrades Instead of Spins
Oppression Spins need 3 Bonus symbols, Domination Spins 4, and Enslavement Spins 5. All three tiers give 5 spins. Big Bonus symbols award one upgrade on the trigger for Oppression, two for Domination, and three for Enslavement. The six options are extra spins, an extra win multiplier, extra guaranteed Chained Reels, guaranteed xNudge Desire, a guaranteed xNudge Wild per spin, or the max win, and each one starts working from the next spin.
Bonus Round Rules
At least 2 reels are chained on all bonus spins, and multipliers from xNudge Wilds or a Big Bonus stay until the last spin. Up to 3 more Big Bonus symbols can land on one bonus spin, each worth another upgrade. The max-win upgrade pays The Coronation, 14,780x.
xBet at 3x
xBet, the only Nolimit Booster here, makes a spin cost 3x as much and guarantees a Bonus symbol on one of the first two reels, with symbol pays unchanged and a return of 96.11%.
How to Play
Stacks and 1,024 Ways
A character stack counts once for each cell it covers, so a 4-high runner on reel 1 opens four routes into reel 2, while a lone runner opens one. The 5×4 grid pays on 1,024 ways, so a symbol repeated on consecutive reels from the first one forms a win, with no fixed lines to track. Chains and stacks shape the results far more than the symbol values do.
RTP and Volatility
Nolimit City labels Blood Diamond VOLATILITY EXTREME and scores it 26.33 on its own scale, while our stats row lists High rather than Very High. A 14,780x cap fits that tier, and the RTP split backs it up. Of the 96.14% RTP, regular play supplies 63.96 points and the bonus 32.18, so a game paying most of its return outside free spins leaves less for the bonus to swing. The bet selector begins at €0.20 in the demo, and Nolimit City’s range for the game ends at €100.
The studio’s best-known xNudge game shows how far the same Wild can be taken. Tombstone R.I.P. uses xNudge alongside xSplit, xBet, and xRip and reaches 300,000x. Blood Diamond pairs xNudge with Chained Reels and xNudge Desire instead, a smaller kit aimed at the base game more than at one huge bonus.
Game Paytable
The values fall into three flat bands. The runner leads at 2x for five, the four other men follow between 1.3x and 1x, and the five objects pay 0.7x for the fist down to 0.5x for the radio. The xNudge Wild pays its 2x only if the whole grid is Wild.

Ultimate Slots Verdict
Spending extra Bonus symbols on upgrades instead of spins is the smartest call in Blood Diamond, and Chained Reels with 4-high stacks give the main game regular multi-reel hits to back it up. Scale is the drawback. An Extreme label promises more than the cap delivers, and five runners pay just 2x, so most wins depend on chains and multipliers landing together, with long quiet stretches in between.
✓ What We Like
- The Bonus count buys one, two, or three upgrades, and one of the six is the max win
- Chained Reels copy 4-high character stacks across neighbouring reels for big multi-reel hits
- xNudge Desire adds up to 5 multiplier Wilds, and one on a chain appears on every linked reel
✗ What Could Be Better
- The cap is modest for a game Nolimit City labels Extreme, far below Tombstone R.I.P.
- The runner's 2x for five is the top regular pay, so unchained hits mostly return under 1x
Detailed Review
No Jokes This Time
The runner’s 2x for five is the richest regular pay in Blood Diamond. All other wins depend on how many ways a hit covers, so the design leans on Chained Reels and 4-high stacks to multiply small values into something worth seeing, and xNudge multipliers do the rest.
Chained Reels are the main-game engine. A chain that starts on reel 1 fills the first columns with the same symbols, so a 2-high boss copied across three reels reaches reel 4 with several routes already open, and one matching symbol there converts all of them. That dependence explains why the grid feels streaky, quiet for long runs and then suddenly busy.
The free spins are the better idea. This one keeps the count at 5 and hands out one, two or three upgrades instead. Because extra spins is one option among six, a 3-Bonus trigger can still become a longer round, while a 5-Bonus trigger can stay short and hit much harder, with three upgrades working from the next spin. Upgrades compound as well, because multipliers never reset during the round and each extra xNudge Wild from a Big Bonus becomes a guaranteed Wild on the spins that follow. The structure also plays on anticipation. Each Big Bonus reveal lands as a small lottery before the spins begin, and a multiplier upgrade can feel flat beside the one that might have been the max win.
Nolimit City usually plays its themes for laughs, and this slot drops the jokes. The art is a mine at sunset in rust and orange, with danger signs in three languages, a chained crate hanging beside the reels, and a stop sign, and it plays the diamond trade straight. Per Lindheimer said at launch that the game “captures that raw chase and the lust to keep that big stone for yourself, no matter the cost”, and the cast follows him, from a screaming boss in a white suit to a soldier in a beret. Tier names like Oppression and Enslavement finish the job.
The weakness is the cap. An Extreme label and a 26.33 volatility score suggest a game built for rare, enormous wins, yet this one stops far short of the studio’s best-known xNudge title. xBet shortens the wait for a trigger at 3x the cost, but it changes nothing about how high a round can go. Long stretches of hits under 1x between chains are normal too, something a short session in the demo reveals quickly.
On balance, the bonus design is the reason to play Blood Diamond, and the cap is the reason to expect less than the label.
