Outsourced Demo by Nolimit City
Four reels and four rows give sixteen positions on a factory floor that warns you to keep your hands out of moving machinery. Outsourced is Nolimit City’s smallest grid and, at 5,000x, one of its smallest caps. It also carries the shortest route to a cap anywhere in the studio’s range, because landing M, A, K, and S in the main game pays it out on the spot with no bonus round involved. The art is a sweatshop drawn as a cartoon, all doll heads sealed in bags and knock-off trainers, and the maths underneath is unusually reachable.
It arrived in August 2024 and started a small family, with Outsourced: Slash Game and Outsourced: Payday both following before the year was out. Even among Nolimit City’s regular oddities, a four-by-four board is a departure.
Slot Features
xWays and the Blocker
An xWays symbol reveals between two and four of one low or mid symbol, stretching its column and pushing the ways count past 256. Land more than one, and every one of them shows the same symbol, so a second xWays doubles down rather than splitting the board. xWays can also reveal a size-1 blocker instead, which takes a position out of play rather than adding to it. All four columns have to hold a symbol for it to pay, so a single reveal is often what turns a near miss into a paying screen.
The xNudge Wild
The xNudge Wild lands anywhere and always nudges until it’s fully visible. Each step it travels adds 1 to its multiplier, and where two or more xNudge Wilds arrive together, their multipliers add into one total. Four rows is a short distance to nudge, so these are modest multipliers on their own. Sitting on a position that Print Spins has already inflated, they stop being modest. Several Wilds on one screen add rather than multiply together, which keeps a busy screen from running away with itself.
Print Spins
A win doesn’t finish the spin. Winning symbols pay, then vanish, and the empty positions they leave are refilled on a respin. Every position that has just paid gains 1 to its multiplier, and it gains another for each respin that keeps the chain alive. Only regular paying symbols count towards those multipliers. The chain runs until a respin comes back with nothing. Most of the value on this grid is built there, since one position can be worth several times its table value by the time the run stops.
If an xWays symbol lands mid-chain, its revealed size multiplies with the raised multiplier on that position when it pays, and the position then reverts to its previous value plus 1.
Sweatshop and Sweatiershop Spins
Sweatshop Spins are short by design. Three Scatters give you 3, and four turn it into Sweatiershop Spins, the same round with 5. The length matters less than what you bring in, because every symbol multiplier built up outside the feature stays in place for the whole round. Trigger it straight after a long Print Spins run, and those few spins are working on a loaded board. Trigger it from a cold board, and they’re worth far less. Nothing in the rules adds spins once it’s running, so the count you start with is the count you play.
xBet
xBet is the game’s Nolimit Booster. It costs 1.5x the stake, guarantees a Scatter on the second reel, and makes a Sweatshop or Sweatiershop trigger more than four times likelier, with the return reading 96.09% while it’s active.
The Extra Spin Offer
When a round ends with multipliers still showing, Outsourced can put one further spin up for a price worked out from those values, with the multiplier state carried over. It is only put up when its price is covered by the win that just landed, and the spin itself can’t produce Scatters. The rules spell out the trade, and declining is what they recommend.
How to Play
Sixteen Positions
Sixteen positions is what 256 ways costs, and every win has to appear on all four reels, starting from the left. On a board this shallow, that’s a demanding condition, which is why the low pays look thin and why an xWays reveal matters so much. Stretching one column is the only way the ways counter climbs above 256, and that counter is the quickest read on whether a spin has any depth to it.
Outsourced RTP

A spin costs €0.20 at the bottom of the range, and Nolimit City’s maximum for the game reaches €280.
The RTP is 96.08%. The title screen carries an Extreme badge, but that’s the studio’s usual label rather than a reading of a 5,000x game, and High is the tier that fits here. The cap works in two ways. Any round that passes 5,000x stops there and pays the full 5,000x, and landing M, A, K, and S in the main game triggers MAKS WIN, which awards it outright. The game publishes a simulated frequency for MAKS WIN of 1 in 185,357 rounds.
Payouts
The table carries two counts, three and four, because four reels is all there is. The doll head tops it at 0.5x for four, and the four card ranks hold flat at 0.05x whether three land or four. Five symbols separate the doll head from the ranks, and three of them share the same pair of values, so most of the board pays the same thing. The Wild takes a row of its own and pays only when Wilds fill the screen.
| Symbol | 3 | 4 |
|---|---|---|
| Doll head in a bag | 0.25x | 0.5x |
| Handheld console | 0.15x | 0.25x |
| Sneaker | 0.1x | 0.15x |
| Mutant head | 0.1x | 0.15x |
| Hand | 0.1x | 0.15x |
| A | 0.05x | 0.05x |
| K | 0.05x | 0.05x |
| Q | 0.05x | 0.05x |
| J | 0.05x | 0.05x |
| Wild (full screen) | – | 0.5x |
Ultimate Slots Verdict
A 4x4 board with a 0.5x top symbol should be a throwaway. What saves it is a 5,000x cap that MAKS WIN can reach over in the main game, and Print Spins multipliers that make the distance between the two plausible.
✓ What We Like
- MAKS WIN can deliver the 5,000x cap in the main game, with no bonus round involved
- Print Spins turn a paid position into a growing multiplier, and the chain only stops when a respin misses
- xBet at 1.5x the stake is a cheap route into a trigger that is otherwise rare
✗ What Could Be Better
- The pay table tops out at 0.5x for four of the best symbol, so wins need a multiplier behind them to matter
- Three Sweatshop Spins, or five, is a very short round in which to build anything
Detailed Review
Slot Review
The art is a joke about labour, drawn in the cheerful, ugly style Nolimit City keeps for its nastiest settings. Doll heads sealed in bags, counterfeit trainers, a hand with a barcode on the wrist, and a strip across the top of the reels telling you to keep your hands out of moving machinery. It’s the same register as the mining disaster in Dead Canary, and it does the same job: making a bare pay table read as a deliberate insult.
The pay table really is stingy. The best symbol pays 0.5x for four, the ranks hold at 0.05x, and nothing on that table is built to carry a session on its own. Even the Wild has a single pay, and only when Wilds fill all sixteen positions. What carries the game is the multiplier printing. The distance between 0.5x and 5,000x is a question of how long one Print Spins chain runs and what the xNudge Wilds add while it does.
The 5,000x ceiling is the argument for the game. Nolimit City usually caps its releases in the tens or hundreds of thousands, and a number that size is scenery for almost everyone who plays it. This one is in proportion to the rest of the game, and MAKS WIN gives it a route through the main game that needs no feature at all. A cap a tenth the size of the studio’s mid-tier releases could easily read as a limit; here, it reads as the design.
Where it loses marks is the free spins. Three spins, or five with a fourth Scatter, is a short round to hang a game on, and it does very little without a multiplier state carried into it.
xBet is what makes the whole thing workable. At 1.5x the stake, it turns a rare trigger into a reasonable one, and it’s the closest this game comes to letting you choose your own variance. In free play, the Print Spins chain is the whole show, and a few demo rounds make that clearer than any table can. Outsourced is a small, mean, well-drawn slot that knows exactly how small it is.
