PopOK Gaming was established in 2019 and operates under Soft Construct (Malta) Ltd, headquartered in St Julian’s, Malta. The studio describes its early approach in indie terms, with a small team building games from scratch rather than adapting templates, and that origin is visible in a catalogue that covers more ground than most studios of similar age. By 2021, the company had integrated its games with BetConstruct, which significantly accelerated distribution. Licences from the UK Gambling Commission, the Malta Gaming Authority, and over a dozen other regulators followed, with the studio certified across more than 15 markets by 2023.
The slot portfolio runs to over 90 titles and spans classic fruit formats, myth-themed adventure games, and branded collaborations. The studio won the Slots Provider of the Year award at the SiGMA Asia Awards in 2023 and has been shortlisted for further recognition at SiGMA Americas. A notable recent development is the Alec Monopoly collaboration — the acclaimed street artist partnered with PopOK to produce the Eye on the Money slot, alongside the Poly Live Casino Studio, featuring live dealer games that carry Monopoly’s signature visual style.
