Mother of Horus Demo

What’s a goddess doing on a 50-line slot? Load the Mother of Horus demo, and Isis has three jobs at once. She’s Wild throughout the game, she pays 50x for five, which ties for the highest pay in the table, and any reel she lands on hands you whatever the plate above it shows. That plate can be a cash prize, a Destiny Roulette spin, or the free spins. In regular play, though, she can only appear in reels 1, 3, or 5, so only three of the five plates are in play.

Slot Features

Isis and the Prize Bar

You’ll know Isis by her long black hair, the red sun disc between gold cow horns, and the large gold wings fanned out behind her.

Above each reel is a 1×1 mini-reel, and what it holds changes at random with each spin. A plate may show a cash win on silver-white, ROULETTE on brown, or FREE SPINS on green. When Isis lands anywhere on a reel, she grants that reel’s prize, and one spin can pay out several plates. In regular play, only the mini-reels over reels 1, 3, and 5 are working. The plates over reels 2 and 4 stay crossed by a blue ribbon with a gold padlock until the free spins unlock them for prizes only.

Because Isis is Wild as well, one landing can count toward a line win and collect a plate on the same spin. She’s the reason to watch those three reels.

Destiny Roulette

Land Isis under a ROULETTE plate, and you’re sent to the Destiny Roulette. It awards one of four prizes at random, Mini at 15x, Minor at 35x, Major at 100x, or Grand at 500x the bet, and those are the values in the winged plaques on both sides of the reels. Win access to more than one roulette, and they don’t fight over the screen. They’re accumulated and played one after another, with the number still to come shown above the Spin button.

Nudge Wilds

The scarab Wild is a gold beetle clutching a large pale-blue gem, hung on a red cloth banner. Wild symbols may move up or down several times to add more Wilds to their reel, and the nudge can bring an Isis symbol into that column. Keep an eye on that second part, since Isis is the symbol that opens the plates.

Free Spins

Isis lining up with a FREE SPINS plate starts the feature, and you get 10 free spins for each reel where that happens. When that happens on several reels in one spin, the game totals the spins into one round. The free spins use special reels with the Wild and Isis available on all reels, so she’s no longer limited to reels 1, 3, and 5. The mini-reels over reels 2 and 4 switch on as well, although those two only award prizes. Each time Isis lines up with a Free Spins award during the round, you get 2 additional free spins, and the whole round plays at the same bet as the spin that triggered it.

Then there’s the 10x floor. If the round ends with a total win less than 10 times the triggering bet, 2 extra free spins follow, and they keep coming until the feature total exceeds that 10x minimum.

This is where Mother of Horus finally plays on all five reels.

Outside the feature, the game feels half-built, with two padlocked plates over reels 2 and 4 and card ranks paying 0.5x to 0.7x for five. The free spins open every reel to Isis and won’t let the round finish under 10x, and that earns the game back, even if the newly opened plates only award prizes. Strip out the prize bar, and you’d have a tidy tomb-and-braziers entry among Egyptian slots. With it, Isis lifts the game to a 3.6 rating.
