Outside free games, the coins and Prizes in this desert slot all depend on one symbol. The gold coins show their own values, from 1x to 15x the bet on the reels, and a board full of them with a dagger on reel 5 stays a board full of coins. Free Games Coins
The blue discs with gold plus figures are the Free Games coins. A CASH COLLECT on reel 5 takes them along with everything else, the free games start, and the count is all the figures on the collected coins added together. A lone +4 makes a short round and a reel of big figures a long one, so the length isn’t fixed in advance.
Freezing Collectors
Once the free games start, the collector is no longer tied to reel 5. CASH COLLECT symbols can appear on all reels during the round, and any one that lands collects all the coins, Free Games coins, and Prizes on the reels. After that, it stays where it landed, frozen in place for 3 spins, which is the idea behind the splash screen’s FREE GAMES WITH FREEZING headline and the small 3 on its CASH COLLECT badge. A collector that drops onto reel 2 is still on reel 2 until its 3 spins are up, so the round has a different rhythm from the main game, and the sweep can come from the left of the board as well as the right.
Four Prizes
The Prize symbol is a gold diamond on a purple disc, the same diamond shown on each of the four bars above the reels. Land it anywhere along with a CASH COLLECT that collects (on reel 5 during regular play), and you win one of four Prizes, chosen at random. GRAND pays 500x the bet, MAJOR 200x, MINOR 50x, and MINI 20x, each a fixed amount based on the bet that can be won more than once.
Around all that, the dressing is classic Arabian, with a jade camel, a curved dagger in a red scabbard, an hourglass of orange sand, and the veiled Wild, under a daytime desert sky with a white palace on one side and an oasis on the other.

The four Prize bars over the reels follow your stake, because each Prize is a fixed amount based on the bet. You can set the bet anywhere between €0.10 and €500. Thirty Paylines
Thirty lines cover the 5×3 board, and the line bet is your total bet divided between them. Lines are read from reel 1 towards reel 5, and each one pays once, for its highest win.
A woman veiled in teal is the Wild, with green eyes, a gold headpiece, and WILD in gold letters across the veil. She substitutes for the nine pay symbols, but she won’t stand in for coins, the Prize symbol, Free Games coins, or CASH COLLECT, and the paytable gives her no row. She can fill a whole reel. Her teal tile with its gold frame stands out against the red coin tiles, so a Wild reel is easy to spot.
A regular spin can pay in two ways. Line wins come from the nine pay symbols, and a collect happens when CASH COLLECT lands on reel 5, paying the coins and Prizes on the board and starting the free games when there are blue coins to take. Gold coins aren’t in the paytable, and they pay when a CASH COLLECT on reel 5 collects them.
Sahara Riches Cash Collect Payouts
Five treasure chests head the table at 6x, and the four letters all pay the same, 1.5x for five. Our Take
One idle board in this game holds every special symbol at once. Reel 1 has three gold coins, reel 2 is a column of veiled Wilds, reel 3 has two more coins around the Prize symbol, reel 4 has blue +3, +5, and +10 coins, and CASH COLLECT is in the middle of reel 5. That single screen is the whole design explained, and it shows how much depends on the symbol at the right-hand end.
The free games are the best part. Reading the length of a round off the coins that set it is a smart, simple idea, and it means a bonus can be short or long without any extra system to learn. Freezing collectors then change the round’s shape, because a collector can land on any reel and stay for 3 spins. The line game doesn’t match that. Five chests pay 6x, the letters stop at 1.5x for five, and the four Prizes are picked at random rather than earned.
The hard part to watch is a board of gold coins and blue figures on reels 1 to 4 with an hourglass on reel 5. Nothing is collected, and the game leaves you looking at what that board was worth. Origins, the Playtech studio behind it, released Sahara Riches in April 2021 as the first game in its Cash Collect brand. The plainness shows its age, mostly in a good way.
Next to later Cash Collect games such as Hot Gems Cash Collect, which add more around the collector, this one is the format with nothing extra. That makes it the clearest version of the idea to learn first, and a slightly dull one to stay with once you know it.
