A Neon Peg Field Instead of Reels
A suited gentleman holding a fan of dollar bills leans in on the left, a redhead in a blue dress winks from the right, and a triangular peg field glows between them against a neon Vegas skyline. Plinball Machine is Mascot Gaming’s Plinko-style arcade title, stripped of reels and paylines in favour of a single mechanic: drop a ball, watch it bounce, and see which slot it lands in at the bottom, with a Free Balls bonus as the only extra. The top multiplier pays 100x the stake, the two outer slots build progress toward those free balls, and you can launch either a single ball or a volley of ten with one click. How It Plays
Place a stake and hit the spin button. A ball drops into the top of the triangular peg field and pinballs its way down through rows of pins, changing direction on every collision, until it settles into one of 15 slots across the bottom of the board. Each slot carries its own multiplier that is applied directly to the stake for the ball that just landed. That is the entire loop of the round. No reels, no paylines, no scatters.
The Multiplier Spread
Thirteen multiplier slots sit between the two outer collector slots. Working inward from the 100x slots just inside each collector, the spread steps down through 25x, 5x, 1.5x, 0.5x and 0.2x on each side, and the centre holds a single 0.1x slot, which returns a tenth of the stake. The board is symmetrical, with the biggest wins requiring the ball to drift hard to either flank.
Multiplier Slot Summary
| Position (from centre outward) | Multiplier |
|---|---|
| Centre | x0.1 |
| Second ring | x0.2 |
| Third ring | x0.5 |
| Fourth ring | x1.5 |
| Fifth ring | x5 |
| Sixth ring | x25 |
| Outer multiplier ring | x100 |
| Outer edges | Free Balls collector |
Single Ball or Volley of Ten
The control next to the main spin button launches ten balls in a single release. A ten-ball volley costs ten times the base ball stake, and each ball plays out independently with its own path through the pins. An autoplay menu is also available at a fixed stake.
Free Balls Bonus
The two slots at the very outer edges are marked as collectors. Balls that fall into them don’t pay a multiplier; instead, they bank progress toward the Free Balls bonus, with progress shown on the dial to the right of the board. When enough balls have gathered in the collectors, the feature triggers and a random number of free balls is fired onto the field from the top. Each free ball plays at the same stake as the round that earned it and can land in any slot on the board, including a collector, banking progress toward the next Free Balls trigger.
RTP and What to Expect
In the demo, twelve preset stakes cover everything from 0.01 to 50.00 a ball, and a ten-ball volley multiplies whichever one you pick by ten. Theoretical RTP is published at 95.31%. In a Plinko-type game, most balls settle towards the centre of the board, where the multipliers are lowest, so they gradually chip the stake down. The 100x outer slots and the Free Balls trigger are what pull the return back upwards. Mascot rates the volatility medium-high, and the ten-ball volley option can turn up the pace of play considerably.
